I am in the same situation too, I just wish I could use the XMP profile so that I use the RAM at its nominal frequency (3200 CL16) and not 2666 CL19. But unfortunately the BIOS I've tried so far (CLEVO and XMG) doesn't allow to use XMP profiles.
Does the new BIOS 1.07.07 allow you to use XMP profiles?

For me it didn't until I was able to access the memory options to enable gear 2.

However if you was able to post with 4 slots and was just unstable it might have fixed that issue.

Wait, the RAM doesn't run any faster than 2666MHZ? Why do all these custom build config sites allow you to choose more expensive faster RAM?

2 slots under the keyboard: 2667Mhz
2 slots under the backcover: 3200Mhz

    all 4 slots: 2667Mhz

I test it with 4 pcs. of 3200Mhz modules.

I'm guessing then the limiting factor here is the laptop motherboard design. Good to know. Almost seems like something is broken if it cannot run 4 sticks of ram at a rated speed for the CPU architecture.

Interesting... the bios update (Insyde 1.7.6) didn't improve the stability of the machine in Balanced power profile, so i went back to Ultimate Performance. So far, it's at least as stable as Balanced was. So not a total waste of time.

Running 4 sodimm sticks in a motherboard is a totally different prospect to 4 sodimm slots in a notebook though this behaviour is odd.

Anyone else have the following issue when trying to open the CPU Overclock app? Latest versions from the store are installed. The app still opens, it just gives this first. None of the other apps indicated by the Clevo Control Center do this.

Tried reinstalling the Control Center 3.0 Universal Windows App as well as the CPU Overclocking one. No luck. Did those steps resolve the issue for you?

(I know Clevo/Insyde have some software bugs occasionally, I just want to see if this is one I can't resolve on my own with a workaround.)

Anyone here heard about RTX 3080Ti mobile? I have sources that says NVIDIA will release in CES2022 and it will use GA103 chip with 7K+ CUDA Cores. Unknown TGP.

Is it possible that Clevo supports it in current gen? Or will be only for Alder-Lake+?

Considering that Alder-Lake successor, Raptor-Lake is only a minor update (Same Socket, +10% IPC RPC vs Golden Cove and doubling E-Cores to 16), i don't think it will come back in anytime soon then.... i can't just believe Intel ripped MXM.

Has anyone had success installing POP!_OS onto this laptop,
I have tried myself and keep getting a blank screen unless i edit the CMD and place acpi=off, then when i go to install on a GPT clean drive it fails to install the bootloader. Then after i fix that the screen remains blank if i use F7 and choose the drive or shows the OEM Logo and stays there.

Would be grateful for some pointers.
