Yes this model may be released already for shipping by some brands, however for the Sager brand and some others it is not ready as of today. Soon... :)

    My Main questions :

    - How does the keyboard feels ? that's always a weakness for clevo , especially on the W740SU

    - What battery life do you get on linux ? Clevo says 9 hours and system76 says 5 which would be disapointing. my battery test is playing a mp3 internet streams via Wifi with screen at 50%....

I don't know if it's the same keyboard as the W740SU or not but from what little I've used it so far it feels as solid as the one on my W230ST.

I don't know that I will be doing a Linux install, but will consider it. If anything it will likely be Ubuntu.

So streaming audio or it just downloads the mp3 and then plays it? In either case, constantly tapping the internet is an unavoidable couple Watt power drrain from the wi-fi card and whatever other CPU cycles are being used to process it. It has a 45WHr battery so even if it draws 8W, that will be less than 6 hours. Between the LCD (touchscreen no less), CPU, RAM, SSD, and other components it would be a miracle to draw less than 8W IMHO, especially at 50% brightness.

Here's the mobile CPU, interesting with the PCH separate die on the PCB:
