Members experiences will be difficult at the moment. The performance will be an interesting comparison with the clocks for the Nvidia cards.

Honestly after my disappointment with the Asus G14, I am kinda interested in this laptop. Looks really sleek and powerful and at a good price point. Any idea on availability?

The schedule of sales has been postponed, and the current estimate is that it will be listed at the end of May or even June.
Relevant unboxing review and benchmark have to wait until then, at present only the official datas and pictures.
I am concerned about the undervolt issue of the new tenth-generation i7.

Seriously contemplating buying this, but I want to wait until I see thermal and battery performance. I wonder if its 73w battery + 10875H lasts longer than a Tongfang model with a 62w battery + 4800H I'm also looking at.

Yeah I am going to definitely pick either the 2070 or 2080 model up.

I bought an asus G14 and was super disappointed with the performance/thermals (cpu got upto 103C before and after a repaste) the tweaks you had to do to dial it down(disable turbo)the random black screen crap on the amd igpu, the subpar backlit keyboard, and the shoddy fingerprint scanner.

I hope this laptop has decent thermals and performance. Can't wait to order mine either this Friday or next week (whenever they become available)

This one looks freaking awesome. I'm looking for a nice laptop after falling in the TUF FX506 trap (returned). It would become my first Clevo based laptop, are they usually any good?

1.They are great value for the money compared to other brands

    2. They often need more out of the box finetuning

    3. The DTRs are traditionally Clevo's strongest product, the thin & lights are sometimes great, but sometimes they suffer thermal issues. Hence the need for reviews/user experiences before you buy

    4. No bloatware! However, the Clevo Control Center isn't great. There are alternatives such as Obsidian Tools

You may want to check out the Tongfang models as well in the 'Other Manufacturers' forum.

This is the first time in like 5 years I have gone all in like this on a laptop. (Last time was with a GTX 980M on a sager)

After my disappointment with the Asus G14 I want to be happy with this laptop.

Better FPS for your dollar than what I am getting, that's for sure.

    @Meaker@Sager

On another topic. What is the max speed RAM that is compatible with these laptops? Would 3200mhz XMP work? Or is it capped at 2933/3200mhz JEDEC timings?

Also is undervolting vcore compatible with it? (I saw it was on other sager comet lake laptops)

I already got some 2666 (non-xmp) ram on hand but I wouldnt be against selling it and buying 3200mhz xmp/jedec stuff if its compatible.

Edit: Screw it, I bought some 3200mhz Crucial (non-xmp) stuff ($68.99) and if it doesnt support 3200mhz out of the box its going back and I will use this 2666mhz stuff I have on hand.(probably not a massive difference in performance but if I am going all out on this laptop... why not?)

Ordering through them as well. Obvs €1500 is the starting price, it adds up quickly. If you have more to spare I'd look to the Tongfang model with the full fat 2070 and the 94Wh battery.

Ordered mine last week, I got the 17” model which is a “PC70” super excited and delivery is first week of July. I’ve done a lot of research and compared everything to Razer, Asus, MSI and Gigabyte, this came in more then $1000AUD less with similar hardware.
    Specs below:

Intel Core i7-10875H 8-Core (16M Cache up to 5.10 GHz)

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6 VRAM with Max-Q

    17.3" FHD 1920 x 1080 IPS Edge-to-Edge Matte 144Hz LED - 98% SRGB with X-Rite Pro Colour Calibration

    Per-Key Edge-Lit Colour Keyboard - Adjustable Colours Per-Key

    16GB DDR4 2666MHZ (2 x 8GB)

Post up some temps and benchmarks when you can. I'd love to see how it compares with the 2070 super version I have. In also interested in fan noise.

My laptop shipped today! I'll have it on Tuesday! The wait is almost over...

I got the 2080 super model and I'll post some photos/numbers/etc after I open it and such.

My PC50DD2 is on its way as well! Hopefully I'll find a moment to review it this weekend or next week.

I guess we'll need Obsidian fan control to have full control over the fan curve.

So looks like there is a version of this laptop out there internationally with the i7-10750H instead of the i7-10875H:

if that is the same model here is their driver/bios/manual page: (looks like they created a custom fan curve via their bios if you read that reddit page)

    They have an internal shot:

That my next tweak to tackle on mine. I've finished my gpu and CPU underclocks. Now I need to dive into fan tuning. The control panel is really limited on what u can change for the fans
