Perfect! I wish the bezels were a bit thinner, more like the GS73. Apart from that, it's exactly what I have been looking for.

looks very sleek, but not too crazy bout the red grill accents. nice that the speakers are on the top facing toward user it seems. display panel looks like a decent IPS with good colors from the angled image, hope there is MUX for battery life etc. great to see thunderbolt. thanks for posting this model, looks very promising !

Well, I think this is what I was hoping/waiting for, something like a P670HS-G minus 2 ram slots, minus one 2.5", plus Thunderbolt etc. Will this be available with a GTX 1060? If a decent one with 1070 is at 2200euros+ it's out of my price range. Is this considered the successor to the P670HS-G or is another model coming soon that will be the successor to the P670HS and the P670HP6? The characteristics you posted don't mention G-Sync but it's there on the pic, right? What's the FHD panel, do we know? When can we order in Europe :D

Now this is a proper 17" chassis.
I wonder if clevo is working on a Ryzen 8c alternative, as Asus ROG already did with the GL702ZC, and I'll be sold

Uh... Am I the only one that thinks the P670 looks like... Way nicer and better built? Looks like cheap plastic with a weaker chassis...

    And I'm a big Clevo fan... Own a P650RS...

Hopefully the photos are just weird? And yeah good god that red accent... Just what people wanted I guess...

That's enough ellipses for one post.

pa70/71 actually is a lot metal, exactly A, C, D cover, though you can't really tell that from the picture. I tend to disagree with you, it all comes down to personal taste I guess.

    whatever A C D means... haha

:D True, true. Maybe it needs to be changed to RGB to keep up with the times. RGB everything! :D

    RGB ftw :D

I have two strips on my stand now so it can colour code on both CPU and GPU temps.

There is so little information about this model online... but it seems like it will be the top choice for a slim/portable 1070 GTX 4K laptop.

Given how long it takes to release this model, I think they should jump straight to Coffee Lake.

Do you know when this will be released? Supposedly it was supposed to be this month.

It was supposed to be October/November 2017, but given the pressure AMD has been putting on Intel, all release time-tables have been changed. I think it may be August. However, I think at first they will release the low powered series and than the HQ series. It's just a speed bump of about 10% BTW. But for the same price, why not get it ? It's not like in the old days when you could upgrade your CPU .

Oh sorry, I meant the PA70HS-G from Clevo and not Coffee Lake. Supposedly the PA70HS-G would initially stick with Kaby Lake and be available for sale starting this month.

Stock is 1080p, then there´s QHD and UHD option, although in my price list CLEVO removed the QHD option, not sure if on purpose or mistake.
I have high expectations for this PA70, really love the specs.
Now let´s all hope something like a "PA50" will happen :p -> This is me wishing, nothing like this shows on roadmaps so don´t go crazy on this.

I think I will buy the QHD option with GTX 1070 , if I can get it for under 2000 euro, I'm sold.
