    I got mine today. Trying to get it set up as I got one without hard drives and ram. Gave me some trouble initially. Had to reset the cmos. Then I installed @Ultra Male 's windows but after installing synaptics and others I lost teh cursor and also keyboard buttons not doing anything. Still trying to figure this out ! :)

    That is odd. Maybe there is something with the Synaptics driver version you are using. When you say the keyboard buttons are not doing anything, are you referring to the F-keys for things like turning the touchpad on and off, or the keyboard is not working at all? You may need Clevo Control Center installed for some of the F-key functionality because that includes drivers for some of the special key functions. If you continue to experience issues, maybe reach out to @Zoltan@HIDevolution for some assistance.

    @cope123abc has been doing a lot of exploration and tweaking with his KM1 beast and getting some really phenomenal results with GPU undervolting.

    Thanks @Mr. Fox , i couldn't have done it without your guidance. Much appreciated.

    I have tweaked the system where I would like for now on daily usage not benching, as a guide below are my stats with a snapshot of the temps I had during fire strike etc, for anybody else wondering whether to undervolt there 1080's if they are a little OCD like myself on temps vs performance.

    CPU - 7700k -160Mv @ 4.6Ghz.
    GPU 1 + 2 = Undervolted now to 1000 Mv - with an OC of Boosted 2062 Mhz on the core and Memory+ 450 - max temps on firestrike run was 53 degrees, and this is without LM yet on the GPU's.
    I found that the system ran perfectly well @ .950Mv at 2000 boost, but i wanted to tweak that little more.
    Cooler = On
    Fans = Max

    Thanks @Mr. Fox . I see that when I leave the system idle it sleeps but when I press the switch on button after that, it wakes but I see the windows wallpaper but none of the buttons take me to the login. I wonder if I am unaware of some key/setting that 'locks' the screen on wallpaper and I need to unlock it. I had some other issues that I mentioned on the other post for TM-R system.

    However when I hard power cycle, the same wallpaper shows up but now on pressing space it takes me to the login!

    All,

    Having an issue where once the fans start up in a game and I exit, they won’t go back down and stay at a high RPM. Also, even with cool temps the fans are way too high. I tried Clevo control center and I have to switch to custom to stop the noise but it only works for 1 of the 3 fans, the GPU fans stop working with custom set and it over heats. I have the Prema bios and not sure what’s going on. The P775 didn’t have this issue. Could it be the control center or is the EC just not right?

    @Nmanfred, can you provide the Taobao link? Do they ship directly to US?

    From looking at your previous posts, I notice you were gathering parts for building P870TM, do you mind telling me where you sourced the parts?

    I have a P870KM and below are the parts I need for the upgrade:

    1. motherboard (I have it already)
    2. power LED board (RJTech)
    3. TP Click board (Eurocom)
    4. CPU heatsink (Eurocom or RJTech)

    The shipping cost for Eurocom is quick high, RJTech is more reasonable.

    Thanks for the info.

    Edit: I think I got it working, going to try now !!!

    I keep getting a .net error when I start the pc with Clevo control center 2.0 so it never starts. So ridiculous that I can’t get normal fan control on a 4000 dollar machine. The fans are either way too high or way too low, and after gaming and back to the desktop they stay near max unless I switch to custom. I’m going crazy !

    Nope latest version not working for the GPU fans, wont even detect the GPU fans....it just says that it’s OFF. It also seems like the GPU fans ramp
    Up only when cpu goes high, and both get stuck at high rpm even when idle. What a mess !!

    I am trying to install the graphics drivers for rtx 2080 on the tm-r. I tried to follow the download and instructions from this page of @Prema : https://premamod.wordpress.com/2017/08/15/j95-nvidia-inf/ . On trying the steps and running the setup I get the error that the driver is not compatible with my version of windows. I am running windows 10 Pro.

    So what I did was install geforce and download and install the driver through that but I am sure if the system will be stable with that or not. I already got one bsod after it so not sure if that is what others are also seeing. Can someone point me to more reading / troubleshooting ?

    Be sure to clean previous driver with latest DDU.
    The driver you are trying to install is DCH driver so it will not install if there are traces left from standard driver.

    But I must warn you, I got BSOD with that latest modded driver on my p775tm+RTX 2080.

    The question is did you finally manage to install it stably or did you choose an alternative. ? What did you do AFTER the bsod ? In my case I have an issue where cleaning it up in safe mode and rebooting it and immediately after it windows automatically starts downloading and installing a driver in the background as if it is his personal playground !!!! The blazing fast that this laptop is and the internet I have also fast makes it a quick install. I think I will disconnect the net next time before trying.

    So what is the advise. Do I try the modded one or try the 417 which HID sent me or what else should I try ?

    I rolled back to official 418.91 dch, amongst the newer drivers this seems the most stable.
    I got Nvidia control panel for it from the Prema site.

    Download geforce experience and let it update you to the latest drivers, then Get the nvidia control panel from the windows store, I had the same issue with the latest drivers and downloading the nvidia control panel separately from the windows store will get the control panel back for you.

    I posted one pic and can post more if you want. I don't want to open the heat sink and post a picture like that as I don't trust myself to do a job on the machine as good as hid would have done. But less that getting the heatsink out here is my picture : http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/clevo-p750tm-r-owners-lounge.827174/page-3#post-10869928

    @varunreeves i see, anyway thanks.

    @Johnksss So its looks like that they soldered few copper plates. I though that they would turn towards thicker thermopads but i guess its better this way around.

    The heatsink uses soldered copper plates anyway due to the vapor chamber better off being a uniform shape as much as possible.

    They? No, this is mine. And the copper shims are not soldered on this one. They are just stuck there for the time being. This mod can be done a few ways. It can be done using only thermal compound as well. Which makes it completely reversible with a slight mod to the cut side.

    So I’m a little confused. HID is the only one out there that offers this chassis with the 9900 and 2080. Did they mod the heatsink themselves to make this work ?

    Well, since Clevo is not making an altered Vapor Chamber HS, then it would be a safe bet that they are modding it to fit the 2080 request specification.
