does anyone know if one can sacrifice the 2.5" HDD for bigger battery?
because it seems there is this 93WH one(unfortunately not 8/9/12cell):
    https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/index.php?language=en&module=search&keywords=+BX1506

and anybody who have used 8700 or 8700K/9700K with delid+UV+repaste in it?(no overclocking, just to get it cool&high cpu-raw performance enough to bring the ultimate performance on this chassis)

Why care about the number of cells?

In the long run,the 9cell's health would last longer than the 6cell one.

Can you explain that or have a link to an article? I'm trying to wrap my head around why that would matter.

The bigger battery is slightly deeper than the chassis, so the only thing sacrificed is being able to open the lid beyond 130° (as opposed to maximum 180° with the standard battery).

According to the user's manual, the 93 Wh battery is 9 cells whereas the standard 62 Wh is 6 cells.

I'm also interested in this. Note that the AC adapter is rated for 65 W only, so a bigger one is likely needed. Maybe @clevo-extreme, who's offering the N350TW with the 8700, can tell us about temps and performance when fully loaded?

Yes to keep it light while using a faster CPU.

I just noticed that you now offer the Schenker DOCK15 with the i9-9900T. That's really tempting!

Can you please comment on temps and performance when fully loaded?
How about thermal and power limit throttling? For how long will it be able to hold its turbo frequencies?
Apart from the 4.4 GHz with one core active, I've not yet been successful in finding out what turbo frequencies the 9900T offers. Do you know?
How about power consumption? I guess it'll turbo somewhere around 3.5 GHz with all threads active, but with a TDP of 35W at 2.1 GHz doesn't that end up fairly close to the PSU's 65W limit?
How long runtime can be expected with the 62 and 93Wh batteries?
Does the DOCK15 come with Thunderbolt onboard?

3.3Ghz is the max all core turbo I believe.

    Hi relobe,

I don't have any hard data for you right now but considering this is just yet another 35W "T" SKU I would not raise my expectations too high. I'll ask our guys to provide us some numbers.
Runtime is 4.4 hours in our 150nits 1080p Youtube/Wifi test. With 93Wh you can expect up to 6.6 hours in such a scenario.

SCHENKER DOCK 15 generally comes with Thunderbolt 3 on-board. For a time, we had a cost-down SKU without Thunderbolt, but that one is almost fully sold out. Incoming supply is 100% with Thunderbolt. I'll make sure we will update that spec sheet and remove that "or" condition.

    Cheers,
    XMG|Tom

I just found this review (in French) of the i9-9900T and they state that the all-core max turbo is 3.6 GHz. With sustained load they ended up at 2.4-2.8 GHz.

Of course, this machine is no overclocking monster. Still, if it can deliver enough power and keep temps in check its performance should be OK.

In the review, at full load the power consumption at the outlet was 86 W. Now, there's probably some overhead there, given that the idle consumption was 45 W, but it raises some concerns about the 65 W PSU... Also, under full load the temp was 50° C (at 24° ambient) so this might be less of a problem. I'm eagerly awaiting the numbers from your guys. Thanks!

After losses the brick was probably around max output but you can get some very nice third party bricks in the 90W region to get the most efficient experience.
