    Hi all,
I'm a long time lurker, first time poster! So, finally my old P150HM laptop died on me; for the second time my graphics card overheated.
However, all in all it was a fantastic laptop, bought in australia (Metabox).
Now i live in germany and I look for a new gaming laptop from CLEVO. The main building pieces should be a GeForce 1070 Gtx, Intel i7-6700HQ and 16 GB RAM, so I am looking at a P650 with a 15" screen.

Due to overheating issues I would like to buy from a reseller who is capable of doing thermal mangement, like I think Obsidian-PC; can you recommend some others?
Apparently the prema BIOS update is also crucial to the preformance of the laptop. But only few resellers in europe do that, so could I do the upgrade by myself?
Besides, would you recommend to upgrade the memory speed to 2400 or 3000 MHz?

Thanks a lot for your help! I was thinking about it a long time, just need a little push to go buying :)
    Cheers
    Paul

If you live in Germany, order your next machine from deutsche Verkaufer. Is easiest way.

A bump to 2400Mhz nets most performance gains from faster memory.

Do you think the prema upgrade is a must have?

The Prema BIOS is only available from partner shops. It's not something you can get on your own.

Regular users should be fine on the stock BIOS.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. So prema would be good for tuning and such (what I do not want to do). I appreciate all your input!

Yeah, the Prema BIOS is nice if you want to do some additional tweaking. Not everyone gets to that level with changing up their system.

Plus the stock options have been worked on with our units along with some others. Check with your supplier.
