I know the 9773 has a 75 Hz 1080p screen, but what about the Samsung 4k screen on the P-75ZM-G? Also, does that screen still suffer from the limitations of Pentile screens that existed in the regular P750ZM?

Xotic has it listed at 60Hz

I'm wondering the same thing. Sagers website advertises that the NP9753 as "G-Sync capable".

Sager has them out of stock with an ETA of June 23rd so we may be able to get that info from them once they're back in stock.

Cool how are the colors on the Samsung panel and how well does it scale4k to 1080p , this might be a good alternative to the 17 inch I was looking at since a 15 inch would be a bit more easy for travel.

According to Mythologic at least their model is 60 Hz 4k. Is glossy the only model this screen is in right now.

It wont be 75hz at 4k due to the bandwidth requirements of such a resolution.

What are the basic bandwidth requirements for a 4k screen?

    About 12Gb/sec meaning 75hz needs 15Gb/sec.

So for right now any 4k screens for G sync on a laptop would be locked at 60? Just trying to understand the choices since higher refresh is better for some applications I'm looking into.

Locked? No just not stock any higher and over clocking is not likely to have much headroom.
