I've had this laptop for about a week and for some reason my frames have steadily dropped from about 170 to ~100-80 on csgo. The frames don't change even when I max all my settings out or put everything on their lowest settings. I managed to get it back up to 170 once by reinstalling the drivers but since then it has dropped back down to ~100-80.

Does anyone know a more permanent fix?

Try restarting your PC every time you get the FPS drops. It used to fix CS for me

Please note: CS:GO is an extremely terribly coded game. It's just so bloody lightweight on a PC generally and so popular that nobody really complains. But it is.
