Hi, I've noticed a lot of the Clevo resellers offer custom paint jobs. The colors and designs are pretty cool! I was just wondering if anybody on the forum have had experience with custom painted Clevo's? How durable is the paint? Thanks!

We do quite a bit of them but not sure how many of them are NBR visitors.
We do a 7 step process which is very similar to an automotive paint process.
Hopefully someone who has one will chime in.

The durability depends on the method and paint used for the painting. Research into any techniques the reseller offers and see which should be the most durable. Done right and it should be fine.

I'm looking into Plasti-Dip spray if I consider painting my laptop. According to the videos it binds pretty well to non-primered surfaces and best of all, it is removable. It's billed as spray like paint, peel like a wrap which would work well if I got bored of the look or wanted to return it to a stock look :)
