Who has information on this laptop ?

Is it the same case as a known Clevo or is it different ?

    Any review out there ?

Its the Clevo P650 type chassis (which is great). The specs inside I think are a 970m and i7 4710hq with a non GSync panel, it is no longer made, but still great.

So in terms of cooling, it's the same as P650/P651 ?

Then why is it so much cheaper ?

I would look at the specs etc, it's an older model now with the 4xxx series CPU compared to the 6xxx series.

Yes, the specs are mostly the same, just with the processors being different as Meaker mentioned. Models with 4th gen processors from a lot of companies are getting marked down, since they are old stock. Nothing wrong with them though.

In your opinion, is it a good deal ?
    I found :
    p655sa (4720HQ - 965m) at 978€ (8GB ram, no HDD/SSD, no OS)
p655se (4870HQ - 970m w/o gsync) at 1083€ (8GB ram, no HDD/SSD, no OS) It seems that the performance difference between 4720 and 4870 is not much, but the 970 is a lot better than the 965...
    p650re (6700HQ - 970m w/o gsync) at 1368€ (8GB ram, no HDD/SSD, no OS)

Is the difference of 300€ justified for the aluminium chassis and 6th gen CPU ?

There are going to be some benefit to the 6th gen, it is a bit faster, runs a bit cooler, and a little better on battery life. Plus it allows for 64gb of DDR4 ram instead of 32gb of DDR3 ram (DDR4 is a bit faster). So there are incremental improvements in different areas.

If you aren't doing something that is CPU intensive (like gaming maybe), or if you don't htink you'll need 64gb of ram at any point, then I'd say you would be fine with the SA / SE models. 4th gen processors are still solid.

If gaming is desirable then the 970M is a big increase yes :)

The 300 euros extra for 6700HQ isn't worth it... Honestly, the P655 is good enough and the 970M owns the 965M at stock.. Wait till you OC the 970M, it's a beast :p

It has a lot of headroom yes, the biggest advantage is the speed of storage in the latest chipsets but it's not required.
