Hello all and thank you for taking the time to read this,

The NP7338/ W230SS is a beautiful portable laptop, the problem is last years model had a sound similar to a loud hairdryer.

I had heard that this has been fixed in this years gen but its still a bit loud, can anyone please do a Video/Audio review of the fan performance? I am sure this is an issue that many would worry about and we all would appreciate the help since there is no video/audio review of it anywhere online.

If you would consider doing this please record fan at idle & at heavy gaming load.

Thank you again and have a wonderful day :D

    They use the same cooling.

The later W230ST ECs had no problems with the FANs, that was only on early builds.
The W230SS ECs also build on on the more recent values.

I hear you, and thanks for the reply, but thats not what I am asking... There is one video fan review of last years model, and it sounded way too loud (literally close to being a hair dryer).

Since then, recent written reviews have said that this has been more controlled in the W230SS. What I am asking for is if there is someone kind enough to do a video review of the fan, to show difference (if there is any) and how loud does it actually run (A very common feature of most video review of gaming systems that has been left out of videos for the W230SS). :)

Well if no one is willing to do a video or audio review.... is the fan louder or just as loud as the speakers while gaming? :)
