Will do! Thanks for looking into it! Take your time. Really appreciate your help :)

Edit: @dsanke Just tested setting Thunderbolt Enumeration from Legacy in 1.07.24 to Native and can confirm that USB Type C stops working. Getting it back to Legacy works again!

Edit2: maybe there is another setting interfering with Thunderbolt USB stuff. No idea

It's a modified TM1 bios for our DM3. There is a excel inside that explains what they support and whatnot

Now i get lower score on CPUZ bench and Intel XTU benchmark doesn't work pc just restarts. Same voltages as with older Bios. I'm on P7xxDMx-0511 with 8700K maybe this Bios meant for 9th processors only?
Edit : Nevermind, uninstaled XTU and back again, big thanks to Dsanke for great work.

Ive been using it ever since it was released. No issues with the 8700k.the 511 bios is for 6 and y
    7th generation
For 8 and 9 you need to use the TM1 modded BIOS for DM2/3
So answering you, yes it's for 8th and 9th gen cpus
Read the excel files inside the zip. You would have your answers there

I asked a friend here tested 0729 with TBT set to Legacy manully. And it works.
So I uploaded a new BIOS with TBT set to Legacy by defualt.
Try P7xxDMx-0729-TBT-Legacy.7z in the same link above.

Thank you for link, they said it's not possible to remove vr current limit. What's your uncore speed and voltage? I set mine 8700k also 4.7ghz on all cores -210mV
and cache -104.5mV at 4.7ghz The best scores gets when 5.0ghz on all cores -45mv and Cache 5.0ghz around 0mv.
But then temperatures are high and cpu draws 143w. :)
Still my 6700K had better single core performance.

I'm running the same as you. Exactly the same but limited the cpu to 4.2ghz to avoid the extreme noise of the fans lol. Apart from that (the laptop) works great. My old 6700k worked better because it had less cores but I'm happy with the 8700k

Of course you get higher scores with higher clock speed.
I never saw that with 8700K in P870DM.
Why? More cores = More performance :)

@dsanke just flashed 1.07.29 and reseting the BIOS to default it makes usb type c work again. It's working!!!!

Edit2: I'm having issues with the model detection.

On Obsidian Tools it detects my P775DM3-G as P775TM1-G.

Can you fix this @dsanke ?

It's working for me. Got 4 USB sticks with type c and of them worked. See if they are correctly formatted and with letter assigned to them in the Disk Manager tool on right button on My Computer. Right Button on My Computer > Manage and hit Disk Manager. I had 2 USB sticks with wrong data being read from them and had to format them inside windows.
Even my phone worked on USB type c ports for data transfers

The tool @dsanke gave me to change the model to P775DM3-G here:

    https://mega.nz/file/mYhzUQ4L#yZ4PZbB2B6hT8jZGNseqe03TLwYhi-W06C5NwmqnOzY

Just double click the writemodel.bat file. It's for users who have P775DM3-G and the latest release from @dsanke mod BIOS 1.07.29 which comes with TM1 model detection as default. This tool will write the correct model to BIOS (P775DM3-G) to have tools like cpu-z, hwinfo and so on detect it correctly.

Just curious if there are any noticeable performance changes from .24, perhaps from microcode updates from intel due to the hardware security bugs

When changing CPUs, go to Device Manager, CPU, right click on any of the cores, and click uninstall, then reboot when it asks you to do so.

Did you flash the newest hop to your 1070 but the one with g-sync? Or you flashed the wrong one without it!? Try and reflash the one with g-sync to your gpu from OP
