I have already done 3 775dm3 mods, all went fine. 2 out of the 3 went without programmer, for the last one I needed programmer, but after that it was fine.

My question is, anyone has made a 751dm2 mod?

thx for the info, I will check that version, however I prefer the rtx versions, If I make a mod, I am not going backwards to 6/7 gen.

How i said, custom EC .06 from XMG unlock CPU FAN speed in auto fan mode ... is cooler but louder. I stay with original EC .01 from palkeo because i hate when is loud ;)
Before i was using CCC, now i'm Obsidian-pc app user :p

PS: I had problems with flash EC when EC was controlled by Obsidian app.....luckily it didn't break the laptop

PS2: in HWINFO you can check FANS RPM

To go for .24 BIOS. you used the SPI programmer? Or flashed inside EFI?

Only from basic Clevo bios I flashed to .27 by SPI. From .27 to .26 and than .24 i was flashed in EFI

Joluke if you still have a .27/.26 bios version can u check and confirm this bug in your laptop? Just plug in usb type c device.
If will be bug, than restart system with plugged in and check again.

Hey guys. The mobo in my Sager NP9873 needs to be replaced. It has a 9700k and dual gtx 1080's. I'm having that done at a laptop shop. They guy knows what he is going in terms of general repairs, but is unfamiliar with the pin modification on the CPU. Is there anything he needs to know in swaping the CPU to the other MOBO? I'll handle the BIOS flash. Is there anything odd either of us needs to know before we do our tasks?
Also, since this will be open I'm wondering about swaping to an RTX 2080. Can I keep the other 1080 in the second slot if I do this? Does the MOBO have to be removed for this to work or could I do it later if I wanted? Anything else to know?
    Thanks!

In .26 whenever I connect a device and 27 too, it only passes power. Can't see the device on windows . I will try the reboot trick and post feedback

    ok, I did it !
    My laptop: P751DM2-G: i7 6700K + GTX 1070; 15,6 FHD TN 120Hz, G-Sync
    Was using:
    -P7xxDMx_RTX.rom- with SPI programmer
-vbios, from folder "Non-Sli/GTX_1070_with_G-Sync_86.04.2A.00.27_N17E-G2_G/vbios - with programmer

    Conclusion:
-G-Sync does not work- I assume that I should take LCD from P751 TM, right?
    -USB-C does work
-my 8 pin clips is disaster- should have gone with Pomona like people recommenede here

Thx for the info. You might need to try the non-RTX bios version. I think the 751tm1-g was launched with the 120hz panel with gsync. However good to know that this bios version works, I will also try to make it soon and check with the AUO BTN 7.0 144hz IPS gsync panel.

well, I've tried flash to P7xxDMx.rom- still no g-Sync, so what can I do now? Search for G-sync panel from original P751TM?
What doesmit mean: P7xxDM_Old_Graphic.rom--> which GPUs? 970m/980m?

    Sure, by heart :)

    auo b156han07.0

I have a 751tm1-g at home (used to have 2 more) all had this panel. GSYNC, 144hz, IPS

I have one spare here, I bought for my EUROCOM Tornado F5, but the nvidia driver switched off the backlight, so I needed to replace with a 7.1 model.

Next week I will try if I have gsync with that, so you will have fixed feedback. Beside the panel you will need a 40pin edp cable, as your panel has 30 pin.

    Guys
We flashed the 751dm2 with dsanke mod but it starts with black screen :(
We tried with different gpu same (1060)
We tested my gpu (1080) in a tm1 works like charm
What could be the issue? Could it be ec or something. The machine worked woth 7700k without problem so with stock bios the 751dm2 worked.
    Thx

The DMx (x) is for the dm3, you need the normal DM model. (I guess, I also had this issue)

    1. For clevo pascal/rtx you will need the mxm wire mod + power aux + moded heatsink (follow this like the bible otherwise will not work http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...ix-gets-an-8700k-and-gtx-1080-upgrade.814711/ )
    2. P870DMx_RTX.rom (that is for P870DM2/3 laptop not for the original DM)

Pls post pics, from inside the laptop, from bios first page. Is the card recognized in bios with stock one? Did you need to inf mod? Is Gsync working?

Maybe some ongoing ones showing the process.

    Guys,
I managed to refresh my 751dm2 with dsanke bios! Finally with an older bios version (DM not RTX) it works like a charm with 8600k. Could you tell my what display cable I need exactly to use my AUO BTN156HAN07.0 panel? (it is the same as in the 751tm1). It turned out that the 4k igzo panel has special connection, not 40pin.
    Thank you

I have a Sharp Igzo 4k. I also have a b156han07.0 but I do not have cable, as the sharp has special one. So I need a original tm1 cable.

BIOS.bin is the name of the file:

    fpt -f P7xxDMx.bin -rewrite -y (or .rom)

when you type fpt -f AFTER P7 push tab and it fills out with your file. GL
