Malibal doesn't post here any more. Contact them directly via their website if you want information.

from what i've read, they've called out certain people that criticized them and stopped giving them support; they had their own forums on their site for a short while but was quietly removed a few months ago and is still down; their site hasn't been updated with any kind of specials/promotions; their base models for 150em/170em start out low (i5, 660m, 4gb ram, 250gb hdd) and then you have to add on the good stuff (even though after it's about the same price as other reseller's base configs, but still). i also haven't read any reviews on Malibal here for months so in my mind, it sounds like nobody's buying from them.

I purchased a Malibal Satori P170EM from them in August and its running amazing. I had amazing support during the process of deciding my order, changing from the 7970M to the 680M, and even after when I had received the laptop and was having difficulties with my graphics drivers. I recommend Malibal. :)

Do yourself a favor and don't purchase from malibal unless you want hostile customer service, dubious business practices and dishonesty.

Mythlogic, lpc-digital and xoticpc are much better choices.
BTW, malibal claims to be a builder but it's nothing short of a lie. It's really just one unprofessional guy based out of Las Vegas (US) reselling Eurocom products rebranded.
In all my business dealings with malibal--which is plenty since i encountered so many problems (no fault of my mine, It was a new but faulty laptop), i never spoke to anyone else except the same rude fellow--i say this because he was entirely hostile and accused me of sabatoging a new laptop. Yet, i would have nothing to gain waiting weeks for repairs when i needed it for work. I would have dismissed the aforementioned incident, but he was rude and unprofessional both times i sought help--which by the way was covered by malibal warranty.
As for the reseller remark, each time i recieved my latop (first time order and returns from repair) it was dropshipped by a facility in NY near Canada which as it turned out is owned by eurocom.

for couple of months ago Malibal had some good reputations around here, seems something changed drastically. Its always better to go with the more experience and "old" resellers, if I lived in the US I would definitely go with XoticPC.

Sorry folks, i meant Malibal (skipped my morning coffee). Mythlogic have been nothing short of helpful, friendly and professional. Nevertheless everything else said stands.
