I saw this offer, and:
1. Is the XoticPC NBR Discount 'worth the effort'?
2. I can't see where to set up signature/logo which they 'require' to give it.
I have 8170 on order, payment pending, until I either 'act on' or 'ignore' the NBR Discount offer.
It's only a few $$ but it has extended enhanced warranty.
Comments welcome.

Hi George, Per forum rules we're not allowed to talk about discounts on the forum but feel free to contact me directly or your sales adviser if you have one. We'll be happy to explain the discount. You wont be able to send an PM as the forum rules require you go have 5 post before you can.

do you ship to uk? when you see prices listed, is there extra charges for state tax on top or is that included? iv held off pre-ordering due to the ivy bridge delays (can i purchase but get shipped to a usa address also)
-
Do you lose money with this discount? I can imagine people trying to take advantage of this, registering, making 5 posts, then quitting, never to return.. Maybe.
Very curious.

We only collect for the price of the computer and shipping costs. All taxes, duties, custom fees, etc you will be responsible at the time of delivery. -
I am also interested in the discount, I'll likely be purchasing after IB is released and will be lurking less and posting more once I actually have something to say!

Just asking, are you going to keep the Sager discount for a while? It's a pretty sweet discount, and I'm probably going to preorder a P150EM w/ 7970M on sunday

I was trying to set up a price quote for the NP9150 but I'm having some minor difficulties with the $50 off. My configuration is quoted at 1504 before the cash discount, $1454 after, is there a specific order each discount takes place?
-
^ I would also like to know this.

The $1500 is based off your payment method. If you're using a cash payment (check/money order or bank wire transfer) then the cash discount price must be $1500 to get the $50 off. If using a credit/debit card or paypal then it will be based off the regular price.
-
In other words, if you are right below the needed amount, you might not be able to get it for less, but you can get a small upgrade (thermal compound, network card, or accessory) for free.
-
So it doesn't matter if the base price doesn't really hit $1500? (like for example, with tax it amounts to 1500, is that okay?)
-
They don't charge tax, you handle that yourself after delivery, the discount is based off the price of the hardware/laptop only. Like he explained earlier Cash/Wire Transfer = Cash amount needs to be 1500$, any type of credit = The normal amount needs to be above 1500$. It needs to be 1500 before you check out basically
-
what do you mean by handling the tax after delivery? please elaborate.
-
I thought you only pay tax if you are in the same state as where reseller is located

You only pay for tax at the time of purchase if the place you are purchasing from is in your state or has a store in your state. For example we're in Nebraska, if you're outside of Nebraska we wont collect for tax. Now if you bought something from a big box store's website and they had a store in your state you'd pay tax when you order online right away.
Now when you purchase from a place that didnt collect tax (not just Xotic PC, all online purchases), you're supposed to claim all those purchases yearly when you file your taxes, and they are paid then. Everyone has been doing that right? -
I'm interested as well.
-
If you could also PM me info about the discount I'd appreciate it.
