    Xotic PC: Experience So Far

    After some sage advice from this forum (seriously, you guys are awesome!) I decided to get the Sager NP8150 as my notebook. With all discounts it came to $1354. The price could have been lower, but I elected against the cash discount due to processing time and the fact that my bank charges an arm and a leg for a wiretransfer (damn Chase).

    Anyways,

    My Sales Rep was Derek S. And he was awesome, he was able to answer all of my questions regarding the product, and show me how to get all eligible discounts for it. I wound up getting an extra $50 off for being an NBR member. Ordering time took a little while, but that is because they process everything manually, which in a way is a good thing because it allows all the discounts to be settled by a person, instead of a machine. However, I ordered the laptop on 3/4/2012, and it is being just processed to day on 3/6/2012.

    I don't have the laptop yet, and I will update/create a new thread when I do.

    Nice to hear, also thinking about getting a Clevo, just not sure from which reseller yet. Also paranoid from the Eurocom post. I'm new to this thing but nice to heard good reviews from people. =D

    I also like it when they actually help you find discounts unlike the stingy big companies *cough* Dell *cough* that try to avoid your discounts.

    Just to finish up, my experience with Xotic PC was quick and painless, I will continue to use their Banner in my signature as a sign of appreciation for their service.

    Definitely get a Sager through Xotic PC. I have an M11x R2, and while Alienware is cool and all, I feel I got hosed on the value. Derek was an awesome sales rep.
