So far my experience with xotic PC has been mediocre to bad. I placed my order on July 7th and was super pumped because I was ordering it early. One month later and I still don't have my laptop. I was content to sit back and wait all through July, but at this point I am starting to freak out. I leave for college in 7 days and I would definitely like it before then. I had a problem with my bank in that I had to manually go in to the bank and raise my debit card limit nearly everyday to keep it open for xoticpc to take the money out. I emailed a rep and they processed my payment pretty soon thereafter which was nice and because of that I was content to wait out the rest of July for my order. I've emailed [email protected] and have not received a response 6 days later (when they said the time frame for a response would be 24-48 hours).
July 8th - my order went to pending payment.
July 14th - my order went to Payment Processed.
July 22nd - I got an email from them saying that my order was pending the arrival of one or more parts.
July 29th - I got another email telling me my order was still in phase one and if I was out of this 7-12 business day time frame to email [email protected]. At this point I was 12 business days away from my order originally entering phase 1.
August 6th - Today 18 business days after entering phase 1 I am still in it and am worried that I won't receive my laptop on time for me to leave
Basically my review of their service at the moment is if you will need your machine in any sort of time frame. I would try to find a quicker option.

I'm sorry that your experience with us so far hasn't been a positive one yet. That isn't something that we like to hear at all, and I'll be seeing what I can do to help out with your order. I believe I found your order number, just based off of the order dates and updates that were sent out. Normally, we do try to have all the payments processed within 1 or 2 business days as much as possible. I'll be bringing this up with our payment analysts though to make sure that we are getting everyone taken care of as soon as we can. But due to the little bit of delay in getting the card processed there, by the time it was done, there was a back order on the system.
We have been sending out periodic updates to you to let you know of the delay on it, and currently it is listed at 8/10 for the ETA of it. Unfortunately the back ordered date was pushed back a couple times. I will check in with Sager and see if there is possibly anything that we can do to get it done as soon as possible. I know we got it to them a while ago, and if there is maybe that we might be able to do to speed your order up.
If there is anything I can help with though, or if you want to look at a different model possibly, please let me know and I will gladly check in to it where I can. I would like to be able to help out, and do what we can to help out so you can have your computer up and running by the time your classes start. Just send me a PM or email if I can be of any help. -

It looks like our Sager rep said he would put a priority on your order. I didn't get an exact delivery date yet, but I'll try to get you tracking information on it as soon as I see it come through.

I've been keeping an eye on your order, and will check in to it here, I haven't seen an update yet. Normally the estimate on Sagers is when they are thinking they will have all the parts needed for building the models. I'll update you when I find out though.
