Ive always had my eyes on another XoticPC build since my precious GE62 and with me wanting bigger display the sudden appearance of the GTX 10 series was enough to pounce.
This however led to the worry that as it is newly released there are bound to be back-ordered parts, backlog of builds and just lots of waiting.
The order for a NP8172 still improperly tagged as a P670RPG (since been fixed) with g-sync add on and a 8260 sans drives and branding nuked was placed and paid for on 8/18 and by 8/19 it went into phase 1!
At this point my boyfriend realized we got charged shipping (sagers free fedex option was checked along with basic fedex ground at payment) and xotic promised it would be resolved when the system shipped. On 8/23 an update pushing it into phase 2 was received with it being updated to Phase 6 on 8/25 but shipped by Sager on 8/24 yes!!...via UPS?
I never knew UPS suddenly took over for Fedex but I figured going coast to coast it may have been cheaper option that was opted for and have no issue on it I just wonder if the shipping refund will happen since it was clearly in checklist and selected but sager picked a different carrier. Update: Xotic did refund cost! So thank you
Its expected on 8/30 and then I can complete this along with delicious unboxing and benching. Besides an X400 m.2 Ill be adding two 2tb 7mm drives so shall see how SMR affects performance of games too.

Hope you love the system when you get it! We use Fedex for free shipping when items ship directly from our Nebraska location, Sager uses UPS still so if it shipped direct from them, that is likely why
