Hello fellow laptop gamers.
With the shutdown of PowerNotebooks- whom I used to buy a Sager 18 months ago, there is now one less player in the game from which to choose and buy a Laptop from.
The question is for me and some others here, is just WHERE to do turn
to find a Laptop reseller that is great on price, service, and selection?
There are quite a few others out there, but what are the opinions of you here based on experience and that criteria that I list?
I have used XoticPC 4 years ago, but I didn't have a good experience with them.
Their C.S was poor, and they tried to upsell me on CPU and Windows overclocking, which is a waste of money. They also are getting quite a few negative ratings from customers in delayed shipping, bad C.S, etc.
I want to look elsewhere for other Laptop resellers to choose from now.
Anyone have any good experiences with other resellers to comment on and post here that will shed some light on the BEST CHOICE for making a new gaming Laptop purchase when Pascal comes out in the Fall?
Please let me know. I have now no idea which direction to go for a new Laptop.

Sorry to hear of previous issues
I understand there have been some negative reviews recently however we have had plenty of positive reviews too, that would typically outweigh the negative ones. If you look you can find both good, and bad reviews for any company, we have always taken every step possible to correct the issues as you can see from any negative review. While we never claim to be the fastest, we do try to give you the most customization options at the best pricing possible. We do typically sell a lot more than other resellers as well which leads to higher possibilities for error's, while the error's are still on a fairly small percentage of the bigger picture.
I'm sure you'll find somewhere that works for you, but if there's anything that I can help with please let me know. -

Trust is a delicate issue with people- especially customers, and as the saying goes, it's like Fine China, in that it's not easily fixed when broken.
When I go to the new Pascal GPU and Skylake CPU laptop this fall, I am going to need A LOT of assurances that my money won't be taken and trust be broken by companies that have done this to me in the past, such as PowerNotebooks, with whom I was a customer of theirs recently, who has now gone out of business, leaving a lot of us in the dark about our Laptops that we bought from them.
With what I have negatives that I have experienced with both XoticPC and PowerNotebooks, there's a lot of hard feelings and bad memories for me and a great many people here, as you can hopefully understand.
People are getting ripped off, or at the very least, getting bad experiences in dealing with these companies, and we don't want to have to go through that again, because we are spending a great deal of our hard-earned monies to get gaming Laptops and GOOD Customer Service, but not getting what we bargained for.
In this bad economic climate that we are in now, that has to stop. -

Ya powernotebooks going out of business was a terrible thing for a lot of people.
We have already helped some of their previous customers to get warranty claims done with the manufacture and done what we could to help out. I understand you're frustrated that they went out of business leaving you high and dry, which is why going with a bigger reseller like us might be more beneficial as we are less likely to run into the same issues that a smaller business runs into.
Hope you find that reseller that is perfect for you. I'm sure some others will jump in soon as well -

There's LPC-Digital, where HTWingnut receives his review samples from, also Prostar Computers and even Sager themselves.
