Hi everyone, this is my first post, if anything wrong please forgive me.
I have a few question regarding to upgrading my Clevo p170em, some of them is pretty noob so forgive me.
1. I had a SSD for my OS. I want to install a hard drive for storage, should I go with a SSHD or a 7200rpm HDD? I preferred 1TB and the main thing is speed. The reason I asked this question is because SSHD have 8GB of flash storage, the rest is just spinning disk, and 8GB is not much, the rest is just 5400rpm memory, so should I go with a 7200rpm HDD or a SSHD? I use it for most of the Adobe CS6 programs, video editing, converting and gaming.
2. Does the Clevo p170em have 2 or 3 hard drive bay (Didn't received my Clevo yet, should be soon)? If it have 3, which hard drive (SSHD or HDD) should I choose to set up RAID 0? (Question 1)
3. I'm considering to upgrade the WiFi card, what is the fastest WiFi card out here? I'm using 2.4Ghz and sitting pretty close to the router, only 1 layer of Fiberglas and 4m away. Does the notebook have it own Bluetooth or Bluetooth on the WiFi card?
4. Can the p170em GPU be upgrade? If it can, how do I prevent statics while upgrading?
5. What is the best cooling pad out there for the laptop? I read lots of reviews and they said the U3 is the best one, I have used it before and don't like the fan speed that much, it too weak, some people said that the U3's fan can be upgrade to more powerful one, did anyone tried it? If you did, how do you upgrade it? I had a look at lots of the cooling pad and I pretty like the Cooler master XL (Air flow 89CFM) but seem like there is no where I can find it.
6. Will mSATA increase the speed of the notebook?
Thanks
