This was my first major laptop purchase. The community and members on their forum are super helpful. The laptop was double boxed. It came out with no problems and booted just fine. I just did a temperature reading, and it says 44C. Special thanks to Hutsady and Michael. Sorry for not reading the FAQs hahaha. I would definitely purchase from them again. Below is a timeline for those who're curious. Thanks again XoticPC for the great service and laptop! Just a note I only discovered NBR because of them as well! I completely missed the NBR discount bit (my fault) nevertheless awesome company.

    hi foodies!
Glad to hear the computer got to you safe and sound. 44C is a good idle temp. Stress test it to see what it goes up to, prime95 is great for the cpu and for the gpu you can do any benchmark program like 3D mark. Best thing to do is play which game you're into now and run a temp monitor program like HWMonitor.

Programs I recommend getting right away are Malwarebytes for spy/malware and Avast for Antivirus.

I'll tell Michael thanks as well.
Thank you too! Just let us know if any questions come up.
