After unrelentingly pelting their e-mail and PM inbox with questions they've been nothing but patient with me and my one million questions! :)

The staff have been polite, knowledgeable and incredibly friendly which only confirms that I'll be purchasing my laptop from Mythlogic sometime this week!

Will update as the process continues! :)

Just received a friendly phone call from Jeff, to verify my shipping info as I'm having it sent to Niagara to pick it up in the States (I'm in Toronto.)

Was told that having shipped ground instead of 3-day select would save me 10 dollars. Didn't know that but I am thankful they took the time to figure that out for me! He just called back to ask about invoices.

Nice to see a company that really cares about their customers and goes the few extra steps.!

I'll be picking it up sometime next week most likely and will update when I open the box :)

May I ask how you paid?

As a fellow Canuck looking to buy a new laptop come August, I have been looking very seriously at either Reflex or Mythlogic.

The biggest issue I see is paying an American reseller since I do not keep a high credit card limit, it is used for online exclusive purchases and I keep it to a grand in limit. A new loaded 17' system would be close to 3.

You can use PayPal or let them deduct in 3 steps from the card to be within the single transaction limit.

Thanks for reply, only issue with the Paypal is it does not nor ever will have direct access to my bank account, thats not a good idea. Only I get that kind of power. Paypal for me is tied ot my CC, which leads me back to same issue.

    Can you do interac online?

Heh I stopped using Paypal when I realized they want me to link my bank account to remove spending limits...

Interac Online would be great but I don't think they have that option atm.
Try bank wire transfer? I'm not sure how much the processing fees are though, and the processing times, but Mythlogic has a 3% cash discount there i believe. Otherwise pretty much what Prema said :p

Yea I would say wire is the best bet. You get money off and its pretty quick. So double win. We looked into interac the issue is you have to be a Canadian company and we aren't....... yet lol

Hey Exmortis; check out reflexnotebook.ca right now they are the only Sager reseller based in Canada (from what I know anyways) and they're actually right in Quebec! They'll cover the shipping and brokerage fees from the US as well. When you way out the price differences; you're still saving like $100 going with them as opposed to a reseller from the States (No offense to you guys haha).

Picked up my Clevo from CBIUSA today after ordering it from mythlogic (If you don't know what CBIUSA is check out my post on the main forums. Short story they are a holding facility in Niagara that will save you a ton in shipping costs if you go to pick it up.)

Packing was -solid- The laptop case was triple wrapped. One Giant box filled with little styrofoam bits, encaused in the another smaller cardboard box that housed the final cardboard box with the machine in it.

Everything here works smooth as butter! All the drivers are installed, everything -works- This is attributed to Mythlogic's thorough burn in process and they check all the hardware.

I repeat everything so far is working! Wifi, screen, software, I'm going to test out Diablo 3 later when I get a chance to install it.

Shout outs for including a free Blue tooth USB adapter :) wasn't expecting it and it was a nice surprise. Also came with the car adapter I ordered, and all the usuals.

They have been extremely helpful through this and their CSR is amazing. If you're looking to customize look no further, they offer Crucial M4's at cheap prices. I'm running a 128GB SSD that they charged 130 dollars for.

I would definitely do business with them again! So big thumbs up guys! I'll post a full review of the machine on the W150ERQ thread in the review forums! :)

I'll be doing one, but I have no way of uploading it.

I don't think P170EM will be that expensive unless you put in a +256GB SSD and a normal HDD or an XM CPU...
