I received my laptop yesterday from Powernotebooks. Even though I have to wait nearly 4 weeks from the day I ordered for the laptop (Sager had a back order, so they were waiting for parts to complete my build) to arrive at my front door, the experience with Powernotebooks was pleasant. My questions and concerns were met considerable fast.

Mine is a sager NP8130. Everything is basic, so I don't need to list all the information here. I love how the sager look, nice and simple. Right when I pulled the computer out of the box, I opened the back cover. Noticed the two ram sticks are installed there instead of under the keyboard. Was a little disappointed about that because after what I have read here, I thought Sager installs the ram under keyboard as a standard now. I should have made the request to Powernotebooks. I went on and replaced the HDD with Cosair Sandforce SSD (there were discussions about capability issue with sandforce and sager, but I haven't experience that). Installed window 7 and drivers. Everything went really well. Did a screen test and so far found no dead/stuck pixel. Knock on wood.

I am waiting for a caddy to arrive so I could use the HDD to store all the temp, media, and user profile on it. So, I am not planning to do a lot until then.

Like I said, the experience with Powernotebooks was pleasant. I researched what I want, ordered, and get exactly what I wanted. No hiss or hassle. I did not ask too many questions because I was confident that Powernotebooks will deliver the product they promised.

I will not make any judgement on who is the best reseller, because I haven't dealt with other ones. Hope this help people a little on their decision.

Thanks Powernotebooks. I am a happy customer. :)
