I just received my laptop today from Mythologic and after the long wait it's now time to talk about my experience. :) After having a terrible time with my HP laptop I started searching for alternatives. This was when I stumbled upon the Clevo/Sager brand and really considered them. My very first choice was XoticPC because of their favorable balance between cost and great service. Then as I browsed this forum many resellers began to seem appealing, I was having a difficult time making a concrete decision until I learned of builders. Going with a builder not only would give me a higher level of assurance on workmanship but it also would narrow down my choices considerably. The only issue would be the extra cost which was initially a large factor for me the cost wasn't such a huge gap. (Although the special offers are better with resellers) After choosing my build and submitting my order I had to wait for my check to reach them and clear (this took a while.) During the building phase I was contacted because I made a mistake and added an HDD and SSD and the chassis I chose could only hold one of those along with an MSata. (Or maybe 2msatas, who knows) the awesome part was when they offered to upgrade me from a 120gb sad to a costlier 128gb msata.
I placed my order on November the 28th and it arrived today (December 30th). My build time was approximately 15 business days which is understandable given the likely increase in orders (12-15 is their estimate for the build time). The Myth team was amazing and helpful when I had inquiries. I would totally buy from them again.
P.S. I tried :frown:, but a few sentences in I realized using a tablet to write this out was not the brightest idea. So inconclusion, Myth is awesome, they truly value their customers and if you have a little more to spend or you want that extra reassurance they are a great choice.
