Hey there, I currently live in new zealand and am attempting to purchase a Sagar np9150/clevo p150em from america. I had hoped to do the shipping through USPS (usd150) but am unable to do so because of Lithium shipping issues. Im currently stuck with the option of spending 490usd on ups. I was wondering if there was any more convenient resellers or other methods around that would provide a cheeper alternative

Look at some of the Australian resellers, like LBO (Logical Blue One)
Mr. Mysterious -
Use a shipping forwarder like myus.com, they offer discounted shipping through Fedex and DHL,should be a lot cheaper than the 490 you were quoted.

Unfortunately the Li-Ion restriction is a policy of USPS themselves and for the time being there is no option to ship those batteries through them. I would inquire if your particular reseller would be willing to ship the laptop through USPS and the battery with other means.

+1 for LBO. Best aussie company, I live in NZ and bought from them!
