Sager np2740 bought from xoticPC over 2 years ago. I had issues with the battery going bad 3 times total where I needed to buy a new battery twice which not only cost time and money but it required me going to a repair shop because the battery is internal. Battery issue isn't that bad since well I could plug it in outlet. Well recently my laptop shut down and no longer turns on. I'm also out of the country so went to repair shop here and they could not fix it. They said its motherboard issue.

If I wanted to get the motherboard for this how much does it cost? Could I even buy it separately or I have to send it to sager via xoticPC for them to examine it. I'm not sure if repair shop is very good or not but they can't fix it. Is it even worth fixing this laptop? Personally when I got the laptop it seemed very good then nothing but issues after it. I paid a bit more than $1400 for the laptop but battery replacement, screen replacement and going to a repair shop to fix this costs money.

Who here has bought a motherboard? Who has Sent sager the laptop then paid to get motherboard fixed? Experiences? Also assume it take weeks at least to get it back to you? I'm assuming it cost as much as getting a new computer? Also curious but anyone here have a sager that has no problems? I been very frustrated with this laptop.

Can anyone here who bought a sager motherboard tell me how much they paid for it? Such as what model and did you buy it yourself and fixed it yourself or bought it and paid someone at a computer shop or just had sager/xoticpc do the entire thing? I'm guessing it can cost up to $1000 to get the part and have sager repair it?
