The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. custom gaming laptops - Welcome to Sager Notebooks I am a potential customer so I sent a fairly easy to answer question to both CS and Tech Support. This was before Christmas and I have received no response at all. If this is how Sager treats customers before the sale I hate to think what happens once they have your $$.

Because of Christmas and New Years many places had shorter weeks, but I would think you should have a reply by now. As MrDJ mentioned you can hit up many of the other resellers with any questions, even through the PM system here.

This was not meant as a shot against any of the excellent etailers who post here regularly, I just wanted to see how responsive Sager is. All I wanted to know is if the NP2740 is the only machine in the lineup with IRIS (5200 graphics) + how long it will take to get one. Plus I have seen discussions in other forums where people just wanted help and were told to turn to Sager. I assume there will be issues if I purchase this machine (BEING the only 5200 graphic with Win 7 or 8) and would have felt much more comfortable knowing the company that builds it would be there to help. Thanks a lot for responding guys + 1 ASA I am able, gave out too much recently)
Thanks a lot for the info Hutsady!

Didnt read it offensive at all. But I see what you mean by the longer response time being a turn off. When you purchase a from one of the resellers you never have to contact Sager directly, should you need tech support or even service/warranty you contact your reseller and they set that all up for you. In many cases they also include a better warranty then the standard Sager warranty.
Also to answer your question, yes it is currently the only Sager model which uses the Intel Iris Pro graphics.

Yep it's the only model in the lineup currently with the Iris Pro graphics. It's also one of the few with an aluminum body, if I recall correctly. Hopefully you get all your questions answered promptly, whomever you go with! (I would give a little extra grace to delayed responses as well due to the holiday season, as Hutsady said).
