So I am just about to buy the Sager NP7358 from Xotic. The only upgrade I need from the standard model is the i7 4810Q. However, I am leaving the US on May 24th and won't be back for six months, so I need my laptop to arrive May 23rd or earlier. If I place my order this weekend without rush service, can my laptop be guaranteed to arrive before the deadline? Would be really nice to have replies from Xotic reps here. I already emailed the address on Xotic website, just wanna make sure you guys get my question before it is too late for me.

Btw I live in Virginia (if that may affect the shipping).

It could make it but with that deadline date I would highly consider rush production to be safe. May 23rd is 15 business days, Sager build times are currently 7-12 business days then you have shipping time of top of that. It will ship from California so to the East coast will probably take 4-6 business days with UPS ground.

With a tight deadline I wouldn't risk it and just eat the cost of the rush service. You want to make sure you have a bit of time with it before you head out to make sure everything is working and exactly as you ordered it as well.

I checked their site this morning and they have pushed back the ETA to May 9th. You can still place an order now to get your spot in line for incoming stock but there will be a wait. I would definitely get rush production since there is now even less time to get the computer.
