Long time lurker here, buying my first clevo (generally do self build desktops). It does not look like there are any reviews about Sager direct orders, I have just ordered a p750dm-g from them and will use this post to document my experience. Edited to add: this build is for a development/vm box that will be set to boot Win7/10/OS x 10.11/Linux, with a little gaming here and there -- hence the 970m.

    3/3/2016: Order placed for:
    - Tom Clancy\'s The Division for any Notebook purchase with GTX 970M or above GPUs.
    - 6th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-6700K Processor ( 8MB Smart Cache, 4.0GHz)
    - 15.6" 4K QFHD Matte Display with G-SYNC Technology (3840 x 2160) [+$125.00]
    - Guaranteed no dead or partially-lit pixels for first 30 days of purchasing
    - Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M GPU with 6GB GDDR5 Video Memory
    - IC Diamond Thermal Compound - CPU + GPU
    - Windows® 7 Professional 64-Bit Edition Preinstalled, (with 64-Bit DVD Recovery Media) [+$50.00]
    - 48GB DDR4 SDRAM at 2133MHz - 3 X 16GB [+$285.00]
    - 256GB Samsung 950 Pro M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD (as Storage Drive) [+$125.00]
    - 1TB 7200rpm SATA2 Hard Drive
    - Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 M.2 AC Wireless LAN + Bluetooth Module [+$15.00]
    - 230W 110V/240V autoswitch AC Adapter
    - Sager 2 Year Limited Parts and Labor Warranty
    - Rush Order Service - Guaranteed shipping within 2 business days of your order (not including day of order) [+$49.00]

3/4/2016: A few calls to verify billing address etc, sales stated that there was a performance issue with the 48gb (3x16) config and recommended dropping to 2x16. I agreed as I would probably upgrade the last slot anyways in the future and it would be better for a matched pair. Order status changed to Processed (although the price has not been updated to reflect the config change refund). The sales person gave me a new order number after the ram change but that order number does not appear to work on the site (the old one does, but does not reflect the change). I am not sure if the delivery tracking will be shown on the first order number or if I am in some kind of split-brain state.

3/7/2016: Unit shipped from Sager and tracking number received. There was some back and forth about whether the 48 hour ship guarantee ($49) would ensure the unit shipping today (the 2nd business day after the after hours order was confirmed on 3/3/2016). All text on the site for this upgrade states it would ship within 2 business days not including the order day -- whereas the sales rep claimed that the 48 hours clock started the day after the order was picked up and worked. In the end the sales rep (Frank) ensured that the order did go out on time and I am grateful, however, I feel like they do need to either understand the language they are using to sell an upgrade or change the language to be reflective of the actual offer if it is conflicting. If it was to miss today's shipment the delivery would have been delayed 3 days because of the weekend.

I will update this as the order proceeds -- hoping for a good experience going direct.

Sorry for the bump, but how did this go?
