    Per title,

Does any reseller offer the option to build a p377SM-A/NP9377 without HDD and RAM. I get conflicting feedback on whether this is something possible at all :( Looking to order within the week so hope to hear from someone soon

I know R&J Tech does this (they'll sell you a barebones with whatever you want). I'm not sure about the others.

We can remove them by request. To know how and for credit amounts for removing those send me a PM or email as we're not supposed to post pricing on the forum.

Weird, none of the Sager resellers would do that when I asked. I specifically looked for the np8652 (P650SG) with no RAM or HDD and Xotic, Powernotebooks, and LPC digital all said they wouldn't do it- it was a Sager requirement. Only the Clevo builders would- ProStar and Mythlogic. Had to return my Prostar model, and Mythlogic is going on 3 weeks without my order moving at all :(

No idea, they haven't responded to three emails to their sales@ address over the past three weeks. The only way I've been able to reach them is live chat, and its just a "it'll enter build soon" with no date for the past two of those three weeks.

Their operations director and I did a bunch of emails before I placed my order, and he was awesome. Sales and build has been radio silence since. They list average build time as 12-15 days, I'm on day 15 and haven't moved past the "payment complete" stage in that time with no email updates or even responses to my emails to them.

They also had me ship in the nearly $500 in RAM and drives I already had on hand, so they could test with it- so here's hoping it's just delays and nothing serious.

The lack of communication is a bit disconcerting. I was leaning toward them and sending in my SSD too. I'm with you, hopefully nothing serious. Keep updating, please.

Well they must be reading here, even this late at night. Josh reached out and let me know the delay was due to delay in the 4k matte screen and I'm slotted for build on Monday. If they'd sent me that in an email a week or two ago, I'd have been perfectly happy to wait. Glad to get updated and know they're working on it.

    Thanks Josh@Mythlogic!

Yeah. Mythlogic was backordered on all sorts of display panels through April.

I'm with you. I placed an order for Mythlogic's Deimos (P750ZM) mid-April. I wound up calling early last week (yes, May) to find out why it hadn't moved past "payment received" for almost 3 weeks. Backordered parts. Now, that's okay. I don't mind when there is a delay for legitimate reasons like that. They can't assemble a notebook without all of the parts on hand. My complaint is that they didn't tell me about it; I had to go be all angry on the telephone at them.

That said, my angrygram seems to have at least gotten at least a little change because Josh mailed me when my unit went into the test rack. I'm told over on the P750ZM forum that Mythlogic used to be better about this. I dunnow why that's changed but it needs to change back or they're going to lose business.

It would be whatever the RAM and hard drive cost added on (depends on the RAM and HDD size/speed as well). If they can allow you to remove it on their online configurator, it will tell you there. Otherwise, call them up and ask them, they can also tell you that way if possible.
