Reflex Notebook Experience: Canadian Sager reseller

I live in the Greater Toronto Area, and decided on purchasing a Clevo W230SS/ Sager NP7338.
The only reseller of a Clevo/Sager product in Canada, Ontario that I found with positive reviews is reflexnotebook.ca
After tons of research through this site and countless hours looking at reviews and unboxing videos, I decided to go for it.
I e-mailed reflexnotebook regarding some questions I had, and J.S. Heroux replied fairly quickly with answers.

Before ordering, I ended up just giving their toll-free number a call since e-mailing was taking too long.
Jeff answered and further explained everything to me. He also gave me the 1% student discount which is nice, but i wish it was a little more. No complaints though.
After I placed my order on August 20th, 2014, an hour later, I received an e-mail from Krystal, she sent me an official invoice of the revised order with the student discount.

Just to update:
Friday August 22nd, 2014, it is now in the "building process"! :thumbsup:
Monday September 8, 2014, finally "complete" and now shipped, should arrive Friday!
Friday September 12, 2014... ARRIVED SAFE AND SOUND!

Also, installed an Crucial m550 mSata SSD 256GB set as my primary and have the 1TB as a second HD.
i'll post some boot-times after i get everything installed. So far so good, no complaints.

I had an initial trouble booting from the USB, and with just my luck, Reflexnotebook was already closed for the day. So i decided to call Sager, itself, and luckily their technical support was still open. A gentlemen answered and walked me through it and had booted from the USB in no time!! (the problem was that the UEFI was disabled in the BIOS, I just had to enable)

This piece of machine is a thing of beauty...

- from Toronto area
- did bags of research
- found reflexnotebooks.ca as (almost) the only Sager / Clevo reseller on Canadian soil. Other one I found was eurocom.com.

I haven't settled on a model yet but, like you, I e-mailed reflex with questions. Lots of questions actually, in several rounds of e-mail and I have to agree with you that they've responded nice and quickly, and very patiently. Actually I had similar questions to eurocom and they responded promptly too..

My plan is to put Linux on it so I'm still torn between reflexnotebooks.ca, eurocom.com, or taking the risk of cross border brokerage fees and going with US based xoticpc.com or system76.com.

The other thing I'm torn on is I like the slimmer models (NP2740 and NP2840 at 0.8") but they are only 14" screens. Any bigger screen and it gets to be 1.25", 1.38", or thicker... the whole Sager line is lacking in this department. Or lagging you could say, as this is fairly recent in the name brands.

Anyway just wanted to say I'm in a similar boat as you and watching for your update on yours.
