    Congrats man!

Advice: You should really call @Donald@HIDevolution and get the 2 year warranty.

You never know, and as they say "its better to have and not need it, then need it and not have it"

My last two laptops, a Surface Pro 2 and Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro, have both had issues right after the warranty ended, 15 months and 12 months respectively. My last two phones also broke only several months outside of a 1-year warranty.

When I get my next laptop, I will definitely be opting for a longer warranty. If anything, it's worth the peace of mind when considering my track record.

    Congrats on you purchase!

great specs you got there. the only thing I would change if it was my laptop, I would get Windows 10 Pro not Home to have the Group Policy Editor where you can change various OS settings and have full control.

Once you get your laptop, tag me again for a tweaking session over TeamViewer.

    Welcome o the EVOC Bandwagon

Never had this experience, personally, but now, you may have jinxed me. :(

I didn't realize that. Windows 10 Home is good for me right now, but I will seriously consider upgrading at a later time. I have never played with group policy in my OS, but just reading about getting rid of the store, tips, and the "experience" gives me goose bumps. :)

    Thanks for the input :D

just a few things I do with the Group Policy Editor the moment I install Windows:

    - Disable the popup window for every app you install telling you that you have a new app that can handle X extension. major annoyance
    - Disable the useless Home Group you you never automatically connect to a Home Group and manage your shared files/folders yourself manually
    - Disable Cortana
    - Disable Web Search
    - Disable System Restore permanently (I use Macrium Reflect to make system images) System restore never worked for me anyway when I did face any issue
    - Disable flagging downloads as unsafe where if you don't right click on each file and choose unblock from the properties, every time you want to run that file, you would get a security warning saying are you sure you want to run this file
    - Disable Taskbar Thumbnails
    - Disable Windows Hello
    - Disable Windows Inkspace
    - Disable the Windows Store permanently so it doesn't run in the background
    - Disable Windows Consumer Experiences

just a few that I could remember off the top of my head

Phoenix, when my 650 shows up you have got to hook me up with that Windows experience. It's like 7, but 10. :)
