    Hi guys!

I've been lurking around for a little while now, reading reviews and deciding what I wanted to buy for my new laptop.

Right now its a glorified Wow machine... lol... but I'm going back to school in September and I want to get into programming, animation or maybe game design. I wanted to make sure that I have a computer that will keep up for a while, so I bought the best laptop I could afford now while I have the money.

I upgraded from a 10 yr old HP desktop and a 5 yr old bargain-basement HP laptop, so I had no idea what to expect..... I was blown away. To say that I'm pleased with the product is a gross understatement. Seeing how crisp and clear all graphics are on it resulted in much squealing and bouncing. My husband may have permanant hearing loss.... :D

I bought through Pro-star and I was very happy with them. They had several well reviewed brand available. I found their website to be easy to navigate, and their customization page was very clear and had additional information available for each step if I needed it. I received a phone call less than 24hrs after placing my order to confirm it and to ensure i did not have any other needs. After that, my computer shipped a day earlier than expected.

The shipping was well done also. My laptop came very securely packaged without being buried under a mountain of shipping materials. It was double boxed with the outer box having a rather convenient handle. (I'm far to paranoid to actually use it to carry the package but it was handy for balancing and manuevering).

Regarding assistance in making choices about how to equip my new laptop- I'm fortunate enough to have several friends who are far more technologically competent than I am who helped me put together a laptop that I am confident will last me for some time to come. Consequently, I would not be able to accurately review that aspect of their company.

Bottom line, I would recommend Pro-star for anyone shopping for a new laptop.

    cheers,
    Zen

    I'm happy to share :D

I went ahead and just copied straight from the invoice. I suspect the specific model is not this year's but with the options available to upgrade it, I just couldn't beat the price anywhere.
