i've had a few days to play around with my P150EM and thought i'd put up a review.
i purchased a Lenovo Y570 a year and a half ago as my first foray into the laptop world. long story short, i consider that my 'stepping stone' laptop as my next one would be a real machine that had good support, parts and can do some gaming.
after months of research starting in the summer, i decided on a Sager/Clevo. the next step would be choosing the reseller. that led to a lot more reading but i finally narrowed it down to Pro-Star as i thought they offered the best price with extras (had free upgrades to 16gb ram and 750gb at one point) and their final quoted price (with two day priority shipping) came to just under or about the same as other final quoted prices elsewhere (including Canadian resellers).
- ordering was simple, communication was responsive (replied to all my questions within a day and order confirmation and shipping emails were sent).
- they offered me a 2% student discount coupon
- laptop was shipped in double boxes
- received a free carrying case which i did not expect!(i didn't see it listed anywhere)

after paying the 13% tax and selling my old laptop and other things, i am happy of the absolute final price i paid.
thoughts on machine/model
not specific to Pro-Star

- unbranded, rubberized feel
- sturdy, solid
- feels lighter than expected
- internal layout for maintanence, modding, upgrading
- no issues with my 7970m as of yet

- headphone jack on right side. interferes with mouse at times
- keyboard is not for touch typists. it's taking a while for me to get use to as i feel you need to use more pressure when typing else ghosting occurs.
- fan at high speed glitch is true. after exiting games, the fan speeds will stay at 100%. what i do is i have to open 'launcher' programs (for like BL2, etc) to silence them.
ALL IN ALL, extremely happy with my purchase, this laptop and my experience with Pro-Star! hoped this helped others. i just wanted to share the details
