this is a copy of my e-mail To Donald at Powernotebooks explaing why I chose to spend $2400 with them.

Donald, As promised I’m getting back to you on my new Sager Laptop. Having had time to load it up and sort of play with it I can give you my honest opinion. I love it. It replaced an Assus G-2 that was four years old. Allow me to fill you in on my entire process of this purchase. You are free to publish any and all info.

After careful research I decided I wanted a Sager Laptop. I wanted a laptop as strong as my desktop. I considered Assus and Msi. After all my research I now had to find a retailer to buy from. I considered three companies, yourself and two others. The first company had pictures of its workshop along with pictures of its employees. The workshop showed empty tables. The employees were very young and had short time on the job. No disrespect to youth intended. What I didn’t like was their bio mentioned the computer they personally used. Not one used a Sager. I did however phone them and asked a few questions to get a feel for them. They were not the type of reseller as you are. They as stated make the upgrades in house. They tried to upgrade me and struck out.

I moved on to number two whom I really liked but again they tried to upgrade me , Strike two.

You were number three contact and when I phoned you and explained how I wanted my Sager configured you agreed that my configuration was suited for my needs. I questioned you on certain upgrades and was surprised that you didn’t feel that I needed to spend more money on things I didn’t need or want. Yes they were trick questions. You explained that you built nothing but were a reseller. I was assured by you that you would be my liaison with Sager if and when I had problems. After a pleasant conversation with you I Hit the homerun. I purchased the 9270. That was on march 3rd. I knew it would be May before the computer shipped. On April 20th I received your e-mail explaining that Sager was having problems and shipment would be delayed. I was shocked that you offered me the choice to cancel my order or wait. I chose to wait. On May 3rd your e-mail explained that the problem at Sager was such that no date could be had. You again gave me the choice to cancel or switch to the 9170. I chose the switch. For the same amount of dollars I did a few upgrades. I noticed in all of your e-mails they were personally addressed not just generic. Sorry but when you followed up to see if I was pleased I had not time to get to my new Sager.

I am very pleased with the personal service and the assistance offered by you and Power notebooks. I would highly recommend you and your company to any and all. When my wife gets ready to dump her Samsung it will be a Sager bought from you that will replace it. Hers will be strictly for business.

The computer: Everything about is fantastic. The only problem is I can’t get the fingerprint reader to properly function And what in the blazes is keep safe. Nowhere is it discussed. If you have time please send me a list of what updates I should get.

Donald, Again thank you for the pleasant experience.

    Bob Castorani
