    Hi there!

I currently have a Toshiba 17' from 2013, not made for gaming at all (intel hd GPU).
Before that I got a Asus G73 from 2010, great laptop but suffered from different issues (motherboard burned, screen died) - everything got handled by Asus but I have the feeling gaming laptops were not as good as todays.

After spending long hours looking for a new gaming laptop, I decided to try Sager/Clevo brand and buy it from HIDevolution.

    Why the P650HS-G?
    • CPU/GPU combo: I don't play games very often but I like the idea of playing again, having a laptop that will be able to run recent and future games with no problems
    • screen is very important to me, if I switch from 17' to 15' I need to have a very good screen (for gaming, photo editing)
    • design: it looks discrete, something I can take to work, no flashy lights everywhere xD
    • reviews: I've read lots a reviews and that model should meet my expectations (keep the laptop at least 3 years, play recent games, cooling efficiency)
    • build your own laptop: I think it's cool to choose exactly what you need
    Why HIDevolution?
    • They provide PREMA bios which is very important for me. I want to be able to easily tweak the laptop CPU, GPU and other stuff
    • Their pricing is very competitive
    • I don't have to pay extra for having better thermal paste (IC Diamond)
    • I got some help from sales representative (@Donald@HIDevolution thanks again) about check out process.
    The laptop will have:
    • 120hz 5ms panel (seems to be very good)
    • 1*16Gb of RAM 2400
    • 1 EVO 500 SSD (+ a second one I already have)
    • IC Diamond
    • probably but not sure W10 Home installed.
I'm very concerned about the cooling of the machine and I hope the decision I'm about to make is going to be good enough.
Pretty sure this is a good setup, but time will tell!

Awesome laptop, HIDevolution does a lot of stress testing to ensure it doesn't overheat and also their thermal paste jobs are superb which also helps in taming the temps.

Once you get it, you can tag me if you want me to help you tweak it and also we can run an AIDA64 Extreme Stress test to see how are the temps and can even undervolt the CPU a little bit to tame those temps so don't worry my friend.

These are the tweaks I can help you with unless you know how to do them on your own off-course. Welcome to the EVOC Gaming Team bandwagon :D

1- Uninstallation of all the Windows Store Garbage Apps
2- Removing all Windows 10 Privacy Invasion stuff like Telemetry, sending your keystrokes to Microsoft, automatically installing suggested apps in the background, allowing Microsoft to conduct experiments on your laptop, disabling automatic driver updates through Windows updates, disabling Windows 10 ads, disabling cortana, etc.
3- Removal of nVIDIA and Intel Telemetry
4- Adjusting a lot of options in PC Settings like disabling Windows Tablet Mode (you have a laptop not a tablet), disabling suggestions appearing in the start menu, disabling automatically connecting to Paid WiFi Hotspots, disabling Game DVR which reduced performance in games, and a lot more.
5- Replacing Cortana with a much better search tool that finds results instantly
6- Restoring the classic Windows 7 Calculator and Windows Photo Viewer
7- Restoring the Classic Windows 7 Start Menu
