Ordering a Clevo P870DM3 from HiDevolution

I just had a great experience working with Donald at HiDevolution on making a new gaming laptop. He gave me a call after I emailed them earlier today regarding a few questions I had. Saved me a few bucks when he caught that I foolishly selected Windows 10 Pro instead of Home edition. Honestly, he was very pleasant to interact with and I'm quite happy with how things have gone thus far. Hopefully, the rest of the process is smooth sailing and I get my laptop soon.

I wanted to thank everyone in the forums here for bringing HiDevolution to my attention. Was looking for a reseller and was unaware of them until I came here.

 

Awesome configuration bro! I also just ordered a P870DM3 from HIDevolultion, they're the best!

 

You have got quite a high spec laptop, I personally think on the safe side, you should get 2 years warranty in case something goes wrong...

Your config is good but do you need a 1TB SM961? I guess you could save a bit by going with a 512GB one and use that money to get 2 years warranty + another SSD from them... A 1 TB 850 Pro + 512GB SM961 adds up to aorund 840 which gives you more storage for the same price

Just suggesting, since from my experience at least, you don't realise any speed difference from NVME SSD's over normal SSD's except for during boot (which is 1-2s less) and transferring large files (10GB++)... I rather have more storage for the same price

What config are you going for?

I highly suggest getting the delidded Silicon Lottery CPU if you can afford it to ensure you get a great CPU sample which runs at lower temps thus giving you more room to overclock safely and even if running at stock speeds, will operate much cooler since it's a cherry picked CPU from Silicon Lottery

Yup I know.. NVme drives from Samsung are seriously overpriced.. If Intel can push out something better then the 600p for a similar price to 600p we'll be sorted..
