    Hi guys,

After month s of lurking here, especially in the Clevo P870DM2/P870DM3 Owner's Lounge!, I finally did it. I placed an order for the EVOC P870DM3 at HIDevolution . My experience with HIDevolution has been amazing so far, especially @Donald@HIDevolution for answering every query I possibly had and the unbelievably quick response (even though there is a 12 hour time difference) . Special thanks to @Phoenix for recommending the Samsung 850 EVO and the OS.

My initial plan was to get one with a single 1080 and vapor chamber and then upgrade to a dual 1080 later if need be. But hey, you go big or go home right?. I hope to get a 4k external monitor soon and add another SSD
NOT in RAID. I can hardly wait to get it by the first week of January, thanks to their rush build and priority shipping options.

You will love it, I just received mine this morning. Donald was very helpful to me too, even through a couple things I misunderstood. I'm not even sure what to do now, this thing is more powerful that anything I've had before, including my past SLI desktops.

I'm installing the free games now :) Gears of War is a windows app store game but I'm going to try it none the less. Watch Dogs 2 is on Uplay.

*I almost hugged the Fedex guy

Great choice going with a Dual 1080 GTX. Do it right from thre beginning and avoid the hassle!

As you say, go big or go home :D

The only thing I would change if that was MY system is I wouldn't get the Killer AC 1535

See why here: Just upgraded to an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265

Not sure if they have the Intel AC 8265 yet as I got that myself from eBay but I would go for the Intel 8260 if it was my money.

@Phoenix Thanks for the heads up. Disconnection is a strict no no for me since one of my primary MOBA games is Dota 2. I will try to get the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 since I find the MU-MIMO technology hard to give up on and I have a router that supports it , if not I will just change my order to include the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 instead .

@Phoenix Do you recommend changing the RAM to the 2400MHZ variant since the 3000MHZ GSkill RAM modules seem to have a few issues? I can buy the 3000MHZ GSkill once the issues are fixed since the 600MHZ does seem to affect FPS in games.

@Donald@HIDevolution told me their tech support has figured out the settings to stabilize the G. Skill 3000 MHz RAM so get in touch with them. The Corsair 3000 MHz. is horrible, stick to G.skill and get in touch with their tech support for the right settings or if you didn't get your laptop yet, send them an email to double check the settings for you before shipping it

IMO there is barely any difference between the 2800Mhz and 3000Mhz memory, unless you are chasing numbers.
And AFAIK 2800Mhz is plug and play.

And it has shipped ! Thank you @Donald@HIDevolution for the incredibly fast shipping. I am so glad I opted for the rush build. I don't even have local resellers here who ship this quick. 4k@60fps, here I come.
