After entirely too much lurking and planning I finally placed my order.
My wife will be very pleased I finally ordered it, she's been getting tired of hearing me talk about it.
I've been gaming on integrated graphics since forever, so I figured the 3gb 1060 pushing a FHD IPS display would be plenty machine compared to what I'm used to.
Any questions at all about the config or my extended decision making process, please ask.
Very excited to receive my shiny new toy, I'll do my best to keep the community updated on my experiences.
Update 1:
Larry f/LPC has already taken the initiative to contact me a couple of times already in less than 24 hours of placing the order. He has done very well at making sure he is available to answer any questions I may have, and to ensure that I understand what to expect from the whole process.
There was a credit card verification step that required me to email them something. When I told him that I would not be able to provide the required email until much later in the day due to being on my way to the airport, he responded that he would go ahead with the order process anyway in good faith that I would provide the required info later. Big kudos there.

2/21: Order placed (close to end of business day)
2/21: I had called to 800 number to ask a dumb question, realized the question was dumb and didn't leave a message. Received a call back within a couple of hours.
2/22: Card verification
2/25: Order shipped from California (On a Saturday)
3/1: Order received in Central US
