Ordered a P950HP6 from HIDEvolution.

I just wanted to contribute a little bit to this section of the forum because of how useful it was for me when I was looking into different companies to buy from.

I purchased a P950HP6

Memory : 16 GB (2x8) at 2400MHz
M.2: 250GB Samsung 850 Evo
HDD: 1TB Seagate FireCuda Gaming 7mm SSHD
LCD Cover Customization : Aqua.

I spoke to Ted through email and he was very helpful in helping me decide if I wanted to purchase from them or not. I emailed other companies over the weekend with delivery concerns but none replied. I received an email at 2:30 AM~ on a Saturday night EST, an hour or two after I sent in my initial query. With every response I sent, Ted was always able to reply within an hour at most. I was told that I'll be able to receive my Laptop by the 15th with Rush Service so I am hoping that they'll definitely come through.

 

Nice machine. I bet it will be on it's way, pronto!

These are the Phoenix Magical Tweaks:

1- Uninstallation of all the Windows Store Garbage Apps like 3D Paint, Print 3D, Alarms & Clock, Feedback Hub, Maps, Groove Music, News, Weather, etc.
2- Removing all Windows 10 Privacy Invasion stuff like Telemetry, sending your keystrokes to Microsoft, automatically installing suggested apps in the background, allowing Microsoft to conduct experiments on your laptop, disabling automatic driver updates through Windows updates, disabling Windows 10 ads, disabling Cortana, Cloud Search etc.
3- Removal of nVIDIA and Intel Telemetry
4- Adjusting a lot of options in PC Settings like disabling Windows Tablet Mode (you have a laptop not a tablet), disabling suggestions appearing in the start menu, disabling automatically connecting to Paid WiFi Hotspots, disabling Game DVR which reduced performance in games, and a lot more.
5- Replacing Cortana with a much better search tool that finds results instantly called Everything which finds any file you want as soon as you start typing even a few letters of its name and it doesn't even rely on the Windows Indexing Service to do this!
6- Restoring the classic Windows Photo Viewer
7- Restoring the Classic Windows 7 Start Menu
8- Removal of the new and useless 3D Objects Folder that appears when you open "Computer"
9- Completely disabling Windows Defender from its roots (including all scheduled tasks and startup files) for those who want to install their own AV. ESET NOD32 Antivirus is highly recommended if you want the utmost security with the least system performance impact.

 

@slimmolG I hope so! I was originally looking at the MSI 63 Stealth and was really set on that due to the build quality.
@Phoenix What exactly is the Nvidia and Intel telemetry?

 

As the name implies, Intel Telemetry is stuff that send Intel information about how you use the system, that usually gets installed when you have Intel XTU on your system. nVIDIA Telemetry is many processes from nVIDIA Sending all your usage habits to nVIDIA
