    Finally, ordered my laptop after countless days of waiting to decide what and where to buy from !

    ======================================================================
    01-Feb-2017 = Order placed, pending
    01-Feb-2017 = Order in process (again John's response and support is so awesome! I just sent them the screenshot of my transfer and they already moved the order status to processing, even though the money will only arrive in their account tomorrow)
    06-Feb-2017 = In Production (expected completion of build today and then move to testing)
    07-Feb-2017= In Extreme Testing :D
    13-Feb-2017= Shipped - free expedited !
    14-Feb-2017= Delivered by DHL !

    ======================================================================

    To summarize everything below in one line - Obsidian PC, Portugal is simply The Best Clevo reseller in Europe ! When it comes to performance + price + features + support, they are simply unbeatable.

    It was a real pleasure talking to @
    John@OBSIDIAN-PC about my new build since day one I landed on this forum. No wonder he comes highly recommended by the senior members and his customers on this forum. I have never been more confident to pay for such a high-end system without second thoughts.

    Special thanks to @Phoenix @jaybee83 @Prema @XMG and other members of this forum who provided me with valuable information for my queries.

    What I liked about them !

    • Online chat support - John and Ricardo have always been there to answer my questions and updating me about the progress of the build from Day 1 of placing the order to the day the laptop was delivered. They are very helpful and most of the times instantly available to support you.
    • Technical know-how - These guys know what they are doing ! See below for more details.
    • Price - Of all the resellers that I had contacted, I got the 2nd best offer here. Combining this with their excellent support and reliability, it was a clear choice for me.
    • Professional CPU delidding, thermal paste and heat sink modding - The benchmarks in the pictures below speak for themselves.
    • Obsidian Driver Update Tool - Getting drivers directly from Clevo's website is near to impossible. The tool is very intuitive and makes it easy to update everything from drivers to BIOS update with few clicks.
    • Custom BIOS with unlocked and more advanced features - Exclusively for Obsidian customers ! Go here for more details - https://forum.obsidian-pc.com/discussion/69/p870km1-g

    Hehe, detailed reseller feedback will come later in the feedback forum for sure :) I will also do a review of the P870KM in the owners forum in the future.

    P.S.: If this post makes more sense already in the reseller feedback forum then @mods please kindly move this post. Thanks.

    Care to share why you went with a FHD panel in combo with 1080 SLI?
    It's a bit of wasted power for your graphic cards. How good overclockable are IPS panels?

    Good question.

    So, there are 3 options for the panel:

    1. Full HD 75HZ IPS Matte with G-Sync - I went with this screen simply because at the moment this is the only option Obsidian PC has for this model. You will see in my detailed reseller feedback later why I did not go for another reseller who has the 4K screen available that I would have preferred.
    This does not matter much to me anyways because I will be most of the time on my external 34-inch screens. Later in few weeks/months if I feel I need a 4K panel for the laptop, I will just get the panel/cables from Obsidian PC and replace it.
    2. QHD 120HZ TN Matte with G-Sync - TN is a big no for me. IPS all the way.
    3. UHD 60HZ IPS Matte with G-Sync - This was my first choice.

    P.S.: I read in another post that this FHD screen can be overclocked upto 100HZ. Although, I wouldn't be doing it as I said I would be using my external monitors mostly.

    I actually cant wait for the QHD 120hz, that will be my personal choice :p

    Wow man thank you a lot for such kind words.

    So you are running at 4.8 on 4 cores without throttle? :O
    Nice... How much UV you using for those values?

    Hehe no I'm running at stock speeds 4.2 to 4.5 Turbo. Those benchmark reports are from your testing :)
    I'm using -80mv for undervolt and it is 100% stable. Temperatures rarely go above 80 CPU and 70 GPU during gaming.
