The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    After a lot of deliberation on what I wanted ( and more importantly what i could afford) I decided to go with Obsidian due to suggestions on this site as well a close friends.

    Nothing too fancy, specs are:

    17'' 75Hz IPS display 1920x1280
    GTX 1060 6GB
    i7-7700HQ
    250GB Samsung 960 EVO SSD
    16GB HyperX RAM


    Like to thank the guys at @John@OBSIDIAN-PC for all their assistance on helping me decide what to order!!

    CANT WAIT!!
