After unsuccessful try with MSI GE62 (GTX970M, before 1070 came) - flicking issues , and high temps and such on ASUS ROG GL502VS I decided to go with EVOC P650RS.
I'm not gonna waste time with details. Ordered it from @Donald@HIDevolution and Donald made sure it came before my departure to Europe on 21st. It costed me extra $50 for rush order, but it came in 2 weeks on 20th (shipped through Oregon to save $ on tax).
Here's issues I had/have:
( video with other issues I've found later)
-1st, it came without European cord I needed on my trip! Luckily I had 220-110V converter there.
FIXED: called and they send it right away (not that I need it in US now lol)
- 2nd, terrible light bleed!
you can see it bit on video too
- 3rd, Customizable Back-lit Keyboard is NOT customizable at all! Can't turn it off or lower light
(see video)
FIXED: installed missing Clevo Control Center and fixed it through it, Fn key not working
-4th, can't figure out why plugging in of external speakers won't work
-5th, why there is NO SD card reader even thou in manual it is present?
BROKEN: won't eject SD card
-6th, occasional flicking issue (strangely ASUS didn't have this issue)
FIXED: It is not doing it anymore
- 7th, yeah and that loud FAN
- and few minor issue like:
No big deal, but why 250 SSD had only 125 Gb partition on it and rest was un-partitioned?
And where is my FREE game?
What else can I do to make sure that all is set-up and included in $2k machine?

Clevo control center can just be downloaded.

That will fix a lot of your problems. Definitely why the keyboard lights aren't responding.
Backlight bleed is a known issue on the 1080p display.
There is an SD card reader on the right. It's a 6 in 1 so it looks a little different.
Not 100% sure on the external flickering, kinda odd.
Seems like a lot of drivers may have been missing. Maybe ask @Donald@HIDevolution for the drivers.
I own a P650RS from HID and it has none of these issues (though the 4K screen is why I don't have backlight bleed).bachor likes this. -

2) If it's so obvious and bothering you, then a replacement must be done I guess
3) Can you go to Control Panel > Programs & Features and tell me what version of the Control Center do you have installed?
4) Do you want me to connect to you via TeamViewer so I can check that audio issue? should be a simple fix by tinkering with the Audio Settings if you allow me to
5) The SD Card slot is there, you actually pointed at it in the video, just press the little plastic in there, it's supposed to keep dust out for when you don't actually have an SD Card installed, just press it in till it pops out and plug in your SD card
6) I don't see the flickering from your video, can you explain please, where and when do you see this flickering? Also, please tell me what version of the nVIDIA Driver you have installed by checking in Control Panel > Programs & Features
Also go to nVIDIA control panel and then manage 3D settings then change the power mode from optimal to adaptive it high performance then reboot
7) Ensure that the Fan Profile is set to automatic rather than Overclocking in the Control Center, if you don't know how, I can show you also once I connect to you via TeamViewer
Regarding the SSD, the remaining unpartitioned space was probably left out for overprovisioning, you can extend your C: volume or create another volume

I will download Control Center from there. Yeah that bleed. Wish it had same screen as ASUS ROG GL502VS I've tried before. Only one that didn't flick. Now it doesn't flick thou. Well I haven't been playing game for long. Will have to test it more
I popped that SD card cover and it works .) -
1) FIXED, yes EURO cable arrived now that I'm in my US home lol
2) I don't really want to deal with it, unless someone guarantee better screen
3) there is no CONTROL PANEL installed (will do by Galm's link)
4) about TeamViewer, I appreciate your offer. Just worried bit about remote control. Is it secure? Are you part of HIDevolution?
5) done, thank You! Seems like someone forgot to do that lol
6) flickering is in that 1st video:
nVidia driver 376.19
3D setting was set at Maximum Performance. Which is better, Adaptive?
7) No control center, will do that now. Ok Fan is set to automatic.
I made another partition. Thanks for link for that SSD Over provisioning. No big deal it was left out. I just found out by accident when drive (well, only half of it) was getting full
Thank you both of you very much for helping!
ADDED: Got Control Center installed and turned off lighted keyboard, and checked Fan in automatic .)

Thanks Galm,
so why was it happening? I'm using external monitor ONLY(no DUPLICATE) now and it doesn't do that. -
That option is bugged as hell, always keep it at Adaptive or Max Power.bachor and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -
Thanks Bloodhawk.
seems like it is not doing it anymore. Well I didn't play games for long time, only browsing net and watching videos and doing some photography processing. Yes Optimal Power in nVidia is set to maximum power.bloodhawk likes this. -
I have just found out other issue, while pushing in SD card to eject it reader won't do!
IS there anything else you guys do to check to make sure all is working? What is SIMM card reader for? People use it for calling, or data? Thinking how to test it without messing up my phone's simm -
With big help from @Donald@HIDevolution and @Zoltan@HIDevolution we are doing RMA:
