    Hello everyone,
So I ordered a 8678-S from Powernotebooks about two weeks ago. They informed me after I ordered that the manufacturer was sold out on some parts until the week after this one. I just wanted to know if that is something that usually happens regardless of the reseller or if were there better alternatives out there.
This is my first time getting a custom built laptop and I tried to be really quick with ordering so I would get my laptop by the end of October but now the earliest I will be able to get it seems to be mid to end of november and I already paid for the laptop so it's probably too late to back down now but I just wanted to get a more clear idea.

Sometimes Sager ETA's come up pretty quick (like there was no ETA then all of a sudden it's like 2 weeks out) so it does unfortunately happen. What you can always do is check sagernotebook.com for the proper ETA's as well, right now it looks like there is a backorder on the processor on that model until 11/13. Hope that helps, it's a great PC i'm sure you'll love it when you get it!

Thanks for the reply. How do I check the ETA's I couldn't find it. I wasn't given an order number if that's what you mean

You just have to check the configurator on their site. For instance if you type in the 8678 and then go to customize on the page, when you get to the processor it shows the ETA next to it, you would just have to do that with the part you are looking for (just trying to give you another way to verify it).
