Order from .HID for a .fr shipping !

Let share my story now because to day my order status is " Payment Review Complete " ! : 21/09/2016

I read a lot on this forum and I note that many people ask for this sorte of order (order from HID shipp to EU). That's why I gonna update my thread in according of the update status to share date time and some informations.

Let say I've a 6 days between My bank acceptation transfert and the Hid confirmation (Thursday to Wednesday). Then note I've some bank commissions for this like : 1,6% in € from the Total $ amount.

Pre-order questions to Donald :

1. How XMP work with the G.Skill ? - They don't really know and answer me all features could be done under the PREMA Bios
2. If I want to upgrade the display later for a good 4k one ? - Answer : We gonna help you
3. Date time for the shipping process ? Before the paiement not full they have this machine in stock, to day I don't know

Donald give me all informations in day time, and now I've just wait the update status or any other communication from HID and share the experience with you ...

With the Prema BIOS, just choose XMP Profile 1 then save and exit and it would run your RAM at its advertised speed.

PS: you didn't get the NBR member discount because you don't have a lot of posts. I don't know what is the minimum required post count to be eligible for the additional discount though

OK after some time and troubles with my first configuration (my DD configuration doesn't work on this machine)
I redoo a machine with an upgrade 4K display and remove the 950 pro and attach a 960. They have now my .fr keyboard (after around 2 mounths) the order is now on "Pre-Production" ...

I could not answer you 100% because my machine is not already in my hands, a lot of trouble with this order, My machine was stole in US before the shipping ! So I'm waiting a new one, with Kaby lake CPU now.

This is strange but this is the second time I'm purshasing a Clevo machine, one from XMG (Schenker) and this one from HID, both have been stolen at the firsst shipping ....

Never mind I'm preatty sure the invoice is from UK because you don't have to paid import taxe from US and you have only UK informatique base taxe to paid !

1) Received a few days ago, Monday : Nobody signed the shipping prouf : Be care full Hidevolution
2) Delivered into two basic carton boxes
3) With a plastic protection around the screen
4) Without ClevoControlCenter from the Operating Hidevolution installation => Support return me stay far this software : But I just want to look at my keyboard stuff so I install it
5) Have an issue with no headphone jack operationnel => Support return me a link to a driver and issue goes !
6) I love the fact I could reinstall all my operating system into 10 minutes and .... 15 for all drivers : Thanks the usb OS, but drivers are not up to date (link to the soundcard)
7) The 4k screen = Love with a 150% windows upscale
8) I thought they would have installed the memory sticks at the less accessible locations, but no ! And the manual have no information for opening the machine and add RAM
9) Add my own Ssd with 10 minutes !
10 ) A really good support from the online ticket system, thanks Zoltan
11) By default I've a blue keyboard without any possibility to stop it or less or more light : I don't have the CCC
12) I'll install my dual boot this weekEnd (and see if I've the blue light keyboard under linux)
13) No Free game like they said (or no information about this !)
14) No PREMA bios !

But a really long and good experience with HidEvolution team ... THANKS and give me informations please !

 

The reason support told you not to install CCC is by default, it also installs the built in Intel XTU overclocking feature which messes up the fan tables and makes them randomly spin loud for no reason.

You can however install the latest version via the Obsidian Tool, just select your laptop model then your Wifi Card (Intel or Killer) then go to the 2nd tab to install the missing CCC and easily update any old driver. The Obsidian Tool installs CCC without the built in XTU Overclocking tool so it doesn't mess up your fan table

The Prema BIOS will be available soon once Prema makes it so don't worry, HIDevolution will remote flash it for you
