Andrew,
Let me ask production to see when it will be ready.

That was our last email contact on Friday. He never got back to me with any sort of status update.
I called on the phone yesterday (Monday 6-17) and anonymously inquired if they were still in business and do
they sell laptops. After he assured me they were i asked them where my laptop was because it had been a month since my order. I gave him my order info. I get the "We need to test it" reply again except in person this time not in an email like the previous Monday. I explained we already had this conversation a week ago so he said he was going to "Ask production" & call me back. He actually did, called me back about 10 minutes later and assured me it would ship today i would have tracking numbers.
And yet here we are, its been 1 month since my order. I have no laptop, no tracking numbers, and a $2800 bill. Not even sure what route to take at the moment i will call my credit card in the morning when i get home and see what they advise on this I'm through listening to GenTech. Right now from my point of view this went terribly wrong.
I have been reading this channel for a long time and they seemed like a good choice.
I guess i was wrong. I will update this later in the week when this situation gets resolved.

EDIT--
(06/19/2019) Update: I finally got my shipping notification this morning.
Hello Andy,
Your order has shipped. (Order#: ******** placed on 05/22/2019)

EDIT--
(06/25/2019) Update: Showed up yesterday 06/24. Packed nice, took me about 1 hour to tear it down and replace the stock memory & drive with good stuff and another 20 minutes to load windows. Using it right now, have not really had a chance yet to take it for a real drive yet.
Should be noted: If you plan on adding/replacing memory there are TWO screws on the bottom of that keyboard not just one. One next to the bottom side memory slot the other near the heat sink pipes- marked with "KB" cant miss them.
Thing kinda reminds me of an MSI whitebook to be honest. Anyway will write a detailed update later in the week (maybe) i am in the process of moving.

This is interesting. I just ordered a sager np8454 from them last week and its still in processing. I believe ken is here on the forums

@GenTechPC
Not sure if this is a handle they use or not but hopefully it gets someones attention.
Testing can take a while if its discovered to be an issue with the laptop that was designated for you, especially if parts are on backorder from the ODM/OEM.
That being said a few days =! Month in total wait time.
Hopefully things get worked out... -
I was in the same position as you did. Put my order in on May 6th, and just received the laptop today June 18th. So that's 6 weeks? I did said that I can wait an extended amount of time as long as they do a thorough burn in test and make sure everything work perfectly. Still 6 weeks seems a bit long for that. But they did upgrade my laptop. I ordered NP8371 (8750H) and they sent me NP8377 (9750H) so I'm happy despite the long wait lol. I haven't done anything to the laptop yet, just partially installed some drivers. Hopefully it works well. Anyway, I'm guessing they just have too many orders and too few people working on it (I wouldn't be surprise if it's a one person company actually. It sure seems like it). Hope you get your laptop soon

I placed my order on 5/31 and it has not shipped. I would be more comfortable if Ken did not keep saying "should be tomorrow or early next week" since two weeks ago.
NathanRN likes this. -
I got in touch with them today and I was told mine would be ready by the end of the week
-
Supposedly tomorrow for mine, which is a NP8356 and an older model. I'd be very happy if everything works though I am concerned about the turnaround time if I ever need to ship it back for repairs.
-
Same here. I bought the two year warranty through them and it is concerning
-
Mine shipped today, hope yours does soon.
-
Mine shipped today. I'm excited now

I just ordered Sager NP8377 (Clevo PB71RF-G) from @GenTechPC last week Sunday (September 29th). I hope it won't take them too long. If it does take them that long, they should reach out to customer to let them know, especially on their website, they said it takes 5-10 business days. That's how you would disappoint a customer if you couldn't deliver on time with no notice.

My Sager NP8377 is finally shipped and will be arriving tomorrow. I am very excited for it and I hope everything will be in order. So it will take a little less than a month for to get the laptop (they shipped it last Friday, so that was about 3 weeks from purchased).
NP9176-G3(P775TM-G) from GentechPC a MONTH ago and still not shipped
