    Mythlogic service has been outstanding.

I guess first impressions do matter
I casually built a system and submitted it for review with a few questions about it.
Within seconds I looked at my inbox and had a new mail, Thinking it was one of those automated emails I went to grab a glass of water.
Then I looked again and it was a Josh, a real Mythlogic rep with the answers to my questions.
That was past 6pm if I remember correctly.
Asked a few other questions, one about using my old Win 7 key for a new system. He just told me to uninstall it from my old laptop that way they would be able to run all the burn test and calibration like they would normally do.

All the answers were straight to the point with no bs and never felt pressured by them.

I've been wanting to get a Mythlogic system since last year and their latest offers made it a no brainer.

So 23 July I ordered the following system

Back to School Special - PICK
-ONE:SLAPPA Ballistix PTAC Matrix Laptop Sleeve with Shoulder Strap BTS FREEBIE
-Mobile Chassis:MYTHLOGIC Pollux 1612 Chassis (Clevo P150EM) with backlit keyboard
-Mobile Display:15.6" Full HD (1920x1080) Matte 95% NTSC Color Gamut LED Backlit LCD (Pollux)
-Monitor Calibration:Free MYTH Professional Monitor Color Calibration
    -CPU:Intel Core i7-3720QM 2.6GHz, 6M L3 Cache, 22nm, DDR3-1600MHz, Quad-Core Processor BTS Special
-Thermal Compound:Free IC Diamond Thermal Compound
    -System Memory:8GB (2 x 4GB) , PC3-12800, 1600MHz SODIMM (Samsung)
-Video Adapter:NVIDIA 680M 4096MB GDDR5 DX11 GPU with Optimus Technology BTS Special (Previously AMD 7970)
    -Optical:Notebook Black 8X DVD+RW/CDRW Combo Drive
-Hard Drive:Crucial 256GB M4 Series SATA III 6GB/sec Solid State Drive
-Keyboard:Standard Backlit Keyboard - NON Chiclet
-Wireless Card:KILLER WirelessN 1202 Designed for the best wireless gaming, HD video and audio experience
-Bluetooth:Integrated Bluetooth 4.0 Only With Intel 2230/6235 AND Killer 1202 Wireless
    -Operating System:Customer-provided OS

With the 7970 kept it under $2000

Unfortunately the issues with the 7970 made me uncomfortable.
I plan to keep this laptop for at least 4 years and take advantage of Myth upgrade programs.
Even though I hope somebody will figure a real fix for the AMD card, I didn't want to spend $2k on a system that is not at a %100
Not to mention I've been waiting this for a while.

My wallet strongly disagreed but I decided to shell out extra for the 680M.
As expected Mythlogic service was smooth, friendly and to the point. I mailed Josh about changing the GPU to the 680M. No questions asked, he told me it would be no problem and just call to get the payment sorted.
After a 5 minutes call, the new order has been made, payment went trough and invoice received.

Superb service, builds from clevo shells and crystal clear testing/burn procedures is what puts them above in my opinion.

So today the status is "shell allocated" and will update if something new happens.

All I can say is I can't wait for this thing to arrive.

So I received the laptop yesterday.

The build got delayed for a few days, Josh from Mythlogic said it was due to a 680m shortage.
I have to travel overseas next Mondays and I was worried I would miss the estimated 4 days UPS ground shipment from east to west coast.
They told me they would take care of it so I wouldn't miss it.
They did and I really appreciate it. The build, burn in and QA too about 3 days and it was shipped right after that.

Well, first good impression is the packaging, the laptop is protected by those foam looking brackets inside the box, and the laptop box is inside another big box full of foamy popcorns.

Inside the box you get a signed step by step build checklist.
OS installation, divers, updates, benchmark, Calibration etc. This along with all the benchmark and temperature results saved in a folder assures you that they didn't just put all the parts together and ship it to you.

There is also a drivers cd and some other miscellaneous media software.
    A Laptop bag, nothing fancy.
    A gargoyle mouse pad, thanks!

Well the laptop looks great! Nothing flashy or out of the way. The rubberized finish gives it a sturdy quality look, not that cheap plastic look.
Not heavy at all for such machine, this is coming from a MacBook air owner.

The only branding is the Mythlogic silver letters in the back of the LCD, they look good.

The trackpad and finger scan is small and doesn't get in the way. Plus I only use mouse.
Fan noise is what you can expect but nothing extreme. Not that far from a MacBook when it's heavy loaded.

The 95% gamut matte screen looks awesome. I thought I would regret it but everything looks so crispy, clear and colorful. And no reflections.

The speakers and headphone jacks are not that great as already posted in other threads, I picked up a Sound Blaster x-fi Go Pro and the difference is day and night.

Yesterday played Crysis, Diablo 3, Battlefield 3 and Shogun 2. Nothing serious just to see how they ran. All max settings, no issues.

Also checked for any dead or stuck pixels and it's all good. But with Mythlogic QA I really didn't expect to find any (I didn't pay for any pixel warranty)

Well there are plenty of impressions and pictures from other reviews and just wanted to add a few of my own.

I'm very happy with this laptop and the superb service from the guys at Mythlogic. Just their QA and small (big) details makes it worth it.
