Hey all, I've been lurking for awhile now and finally mustered up a first post!
When I placed this order I asked if it would be an issue to receive it in time for PAX Prime in Seattle, WA (Aug 31st Sept 2nd ). I was told this would be no problem so if any of you are attending PAX Prime BYOC and want to check out a Mythlogic built Clevo P150EM... let me know!

-------
Configuration:
15.6 1920x1080 Matte 95% Color Gamut LED Backlit LCD
Myth Professional Monitor Color Calibration
Myth Pixel Perfect Guarantee
- Can't wait to see how this looks, but I am going to have to keep it calibrated!
Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.3GHz
IC Diamond Thermal Compound
8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600MHz Samsung
- 30nm Memory (the desktop equivalent OCs like a champ) Myth set @ 1.28V
AMD 7970M 2048MB
- Will take my chances waiting for better drivers from AMD. I'm pretty sure I'll be fine with current performance! I coudn't justify springing for the GTX 680 though it is a very nice card in its own right.
Crucial 256GB M4 Series
- Upraded from the 128GB in the BTS... I have a 128GB in my desktop and I know I'll fill a 256GB on my laptop no problem. Games and Apps will go here.
Crucial 128GB M4 Series (mSATA)
- Cost effective mSATA... $130 for 128GB non sandforce mSATA SSD is not too bad. My OS is going here.
Killer WirelessN 1202
- Almost opted for the 1103... 3x3:3 or bluetooth I opted for bluetooth... can always upgrade when 3x3:3 WITH bluetooth comes out later
Myth Lifetime Assurance with Lifetime Labor +1 Year Parts Warranty, 1Yr 2-Way Shipping (Cont US)
- I figured paying the $20 now for 2-way shipping will be best in the long run if I have to use the warranty!

And the biggest reason I went with MYTH:
https://www.mythlogic.com/laptop_qa.php
This process is similar to what I'd do once I receive the laptop... and they do it for me and make sure all the components work before shipping it out! That means when this laptop gets into my grubby little hands I can get straight into gaming. With the BTS sale (ymmv depending on configuration) this ended up being $4 more than the same XoticPC configuration... except MYTH handles everything vs XoticPC as a reseller for Sager. With this price and saving me at least a Saturday of setup - MYTH was a no brainer.
Shout out to Larry at LPC-Digital... he was my initial choice as a reseller (due to lowest price) and was willing to fit in a phone call from me on the weekend, but then I found Mythlogic... and in the end custom builders are just a different ballgame.
So far all communication with Mythlogic has been fast and friendly... I had a few specific questions and Myth answered no problem.
I meant to post this right when I ordered, but work has kept me busy. This is my ongoing feedback of my Mythlogic experience. I hope it helps anyone looking at ordering a Clevo based machine!

GRATZ on very nice system!!!

And congratulations! -
Thanks guys, I am very excited.
So my build moved to 'Pending Parts' today... wanted to ask if they are waiting on GPUs or something (since that was an issue not too long ago) so I hit up their online chat. Quick friendly answer! Seems like it's a normal step in the build process - I'm thinking it stays in this status even when all parts are received and now they just have to finish other builds before they can start working on mine -
Nice, I just submitted a config for review, awaiting feedback now.
I am 42 and I feel 16, what is it with men, when they buy big toys they feel so young again? -
hey ive been using my pollux for a month+ now. i absolutely love it. i've had 0 issues with the machine thus far. just that in stock, movingthe mouse wakes up the computer from sleep. i had to turn that off but nothing outside of that. just load whatever programs and go. drivers and etc. have already been tested.
congrats! -
Exmortis - I saw your configuration, good looking machine! I almost opted for the 17" as well... you'll have to let us know how you like it. My expectations going into this was a total build time of anywhere from 10 days to 30 so the initial waiting wasn't so bad - it was when parts started coming together and the status started changing when I began to need the support group!
Ebolamonkey - Glad to hear from someone who has had their pollux for a little bit! My order moved to 'Ready to Ship' this morning, so close I can taste it! -

You must understand. I LOVE pictures, especially HD pictures, geeky ones get on it!
