I ordered my Clevo notebook from the site notebookguru.de. It's a german website and I'm living in switzerland. This is just a quick list of my experiences.
15.03.2015: I'm ordering my Clevo notebook. It says delivery time is three days, which I don't believe because DHL normaly needs two days from Germany to my place. I use prepayment and get the bill some hours after the order.
16.03.2015: I'm paying the bill in the morning. At lunchtime, there is a mail arriving from 'Michael Seiler' - the founder of notebookguru. He tells me, that I only need to pay the net amount because I live in Switzerland. Well **** - I paid 400€ too much. I ask him if he could pay me back the balance. He asks me for my IBAN and tells me everything is ok. Some hours after this, the new status is 'Payment Resolved'.
19.03.2015: No new status, no payback. Nothing. It seems, that the notebook isn't even sent yet. I write Mr. Seiler, saying that I'm still waiting for my payback and if there are any problems. Reminder: The notebook should've been delivered today.

Well... banks are slow with transactions, don't underestimate that - and bank transfers do not "work" at weekends. So he might have received the money on Thursday or Friday this week. He will certainly ship the item only after payment came in - which might now stretch, because it's weekend.
Also he might already initiated the payback - but you won't see it until Monday or Tuesday. It's totally ridiculous, but that's how banks works. If banks would transfer everything within 1 day, it would be far far quicker. Thanks (not) to the banks. -
yup, why would he complain in the first place about the fact that you paid TOO MUCH ? ?
If he wanted that extra 400 Euros he wouldn't have told you in the first place that you don't have to pay E.U VAT/taxes. -
24.03.2015: After more than one week, the status is finally "In Production". Haven't got my money back tho.

31.03.2015: I'm actually a bit pissed off now. On the webpage it says "Delivery Time: 3 Days". It's more than 2 Weeks now, and the status is still "In Production". Wrote the support because of the backpayment because I live in Switzerland and didn't receive a answer since ten days. I'm not hoping to get it over easter, even tho I would be excited to test the notebook, because I have 5 days off over easter.

02.04.2014: New Status! Status is now "Being Delivered by DHL". Track-ID isn't working, but oh well...
Sent another E-Mail, asking where my backpayment is.... I hope they deliver on good friday or this saturday -
8.04.2015: DHL Track-ID works now. Got my UPlay-Code for the Crew. Haven't got my money yet.
Laptop is still in Germany but should come soon.. -
The overall process seems indeed kinda slow. I thought you'd get the laptop before easter. Also comparing it with how fast Amazon sends in comparison...

10.04.2015: Its finally here! I think its pretty good quality. Everything is ok with it. Finally got it one month after the order!
Mr. Seiler answered, because of the backpayment. He asked me for my banc details again... I hope to get it soon.
